A Twitter user who launched a social media campaign to stop a juror in the George Zimmerman case from getting a book deal has succeeded in her effort — within six hours.

On Monday, Juror B37, one of six female jurors who made the controversial decision to acquit Zimmerman in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, told Anderson Cooper that she had signed with a literary agent to shop a tell-all book about her experience during the three-week, televised trial.

Bullsquirt! Any member of that jury, relative or friend of either party can get a book deal quicker than you can say “purple drank” and you and I know it!!

One agent dropped shopping the book deal. This is nothing. Another smarter, more profit-oriented agent will step up and sell it to the highest bidder.

I agree.

I just question her wisdom in doing so, since it will be her picture on t-shirts with crosshairs on her face.

I watched it happen live on Twidder. They were vicious. Yes there will be a book but man, they were vicious.

If I were that agent, I would not be proud that I let a bunch of Twitter-bullies dictate to me.

From Twitter:

Hey, @sharlenemartin, please drop juror B37. Do not help the person who let a murderer get away profit from this tragedy.

I'm sure if Twitter had been around 20 years ago this same person would have been trying to stop the forman of the OJ jury from selling her book. Of course she only sold like ten so it wasn't really noteworthy.

These six jurors had better stay incognito, ‘cause the lefting nutroot MSM is gunning for them, also.

The juror has announced she is abandoning the book.

It’s too bad. She could have self-published on Amazon, and sold a lot of electronic copies.

Yeah, I don’t think this was the right time for her to mention her book. Maybe let things die down for a while. I agree - she will put a target on herself. I don’t think the jury is aware of the disgruntled savages over the verdict.

Don’t worry, conservatives. Twitter and social media is useless, and AM talk radio is a far better way of influencing events. Let those stupid slacker libs have it!

The twits did not do this, the agent made their own decision and punked out. We’re all responsible for our own behavior, except anonymous people on the internet, of course : )

yes. that agent really passed up a supersized deal...
he had it in his hands, and the tweet nuts were making it all the larger and more lucrative for him

he would have had their entire tweet campaign available to use in promoting his book

it could have sold like hotcakes!

Someone on FR said yesterday that Juror B37’s book would be non-profit. Can anyone confirm this?

According to Jack Cashill, he was turned down by three publishers when he was pitching If I Had A Son.

In what universe was not guilty "controversial?"
