Even George III would come out of his madness long enough to refer to it as “my tedious illness”, and to apologize to the ladies he had offended with his insane ourbursts.

Piers Morgan is an idiot. George III actually won the worldwide war that our Revolution was a part of with the final battle being fought in India. Overall, George III was one of the most successful monarchs Britain ever had in projecting British power throughout the world.
As an island nation, Britain was not well-suited for fighting an inland war. Their excursion away from the coast deep into South Carolina proved to be their downfall.

George III suffered bouts of insanity which in his lucid moments he referred to as “my tedious illness”, but in another of those moments the King observed of George Washington’s presidency (ominously in his view) “If Washington relinquishes power as he promised, then every thing ever written about his greatness will have been proven true.”
King George would have had Piers Morgan hung, drawn & quartered as a disgrace to the realm.
