What “politically correct” falsehoods do you have in mind? Predator-prey relationships? Population dynamics? Habitat as a function of abiotic conditions? Perhaps you think that adiabatic temperature change and its influence on the distribution of conifers or developing the practice of intercropping in order to maximize agricultural output is “touchy-feely crapola”, but you’d be wrong, and I’m not surprised.
