This company has way too many Washington friends on both sides of the aisle. I don’t want their crap anywhere near my heirlooms.

What do you suppose Mother Monsanto pays for its stable of lawyers every year?

Why doesn’t Monsanto make sure their crop doesn’t contaminate ours?
Unfair that crop growers can’t sue Monsanto for contamination.
How can we be sure monsanto isn’t tossing a few of their seeds into natural crops?

Farmers should sue Monsanto for contaminating their crop.

Monsanto - what do you expect from the people who developed aspartame/nutrasweet?

It is time to abolish the IRS and then get rid of every damn lobbyist in Washington, get back to honest government that works for the people not their reelection or retirement chest.

If Monsanto had no intention to sue such growers, why would they need the results of this lawsuit? As it stands now, couldn’t Monsanto deliberately spread their seeds to other properties and sue the farmers who own those properties?

Loathing for Monsanto is one thing conservatives and libs can agree on. Intrusion into our personal lives through use of technology is another.

There are plenty of morons, even here, supporting this private-government chimera of a company.

Soon, with enough cross-contamination, they will become a food monopoly which the government can then tap into.

Whenever one party in a lawsuit refuses to put something in writing saying that they will not do something, that is exactly what they intend to do.

The organic farmers ought to be able to sue Monsanto if GM seeds get intermixed with their crops.

I can imagine that Monsanto and a few other greedy mega-agricultural companies would like to have a monopoly on food production. The government would probably like that too. Food control = political control [Ask the Ukrainian kulaks. Oh, nevermind, they starved to death]. Therefore, heirloom seeds and those that produce or use them must be destroyed. These lawsuits are just the beginning.
