ALMERIA, Spain, May 20 (UPI) -- A hotel in Spain has come under fire for refusing to let a group of children with Down syndrome stay the night because they "might annoy other guests."
Hotel CaboGata Plaza Suites in Almeria refused a reservation for a group of children with Down syndrome who were planning on celebrating the end of their school year, The Local.es reported.
The hotel said it would not board the children because "these kinds of people might annoy other guests."
Management at the hotel has apologized for the incident, saying it was "a misunderstanding," adding, "In 35 years of business we have never refused access to guests with Down syndrome," who the hotel management said, "have been, are, and always will be very welcome."

I worked with Downie kids. They’re beautiful people. BTT.
Culture of death.
You have to be kidding me?
This is where the rich and famous like to hang out....
i know who the retards are in this story
I did , also, and they are a hoot!...if you like stubborn people. :)
I love, LOVE, the enthusiasm of them too.
We have a neighbor with a grandson that we often see who has downs... I love seeing my kids interact with him... They absolutely adore him.

Bet you the bank that a convention of parading homosexuals would be welcomed and catered to, even if it made the rest of the guests viscerally ill.
LOL! Oh, yeah. But if you can get into their heads - you know what I’m talking about - you get an entirely fresh and different view of the world. I feel sorry for anyone who doesn’t get it and furious at those who would hurt them.
Downes syndrome kids have never annoyed me. I don’t know of anyone who was ever annoyed by them.
There may be some who would rather not see them, but the kids are seldom annoying themselves.
I go out of my way to be kind to these kids, everyone should.
I have news for them. I've seen a perfect world in the eyes of a Downs syndrome child.
And another thing. I met two of the most beautiful people I have ever known in a nursing home. One, a woman of 35 who was “melted” in a house fire when she was five, the other, a brilliant author who had a crippling disease (the name escapes me) that caused his body to remain infantile and shriveled.
The owners and clients of this hotel should pray to be as lucky as I am to have met such wonderful people.

So true!
Hey Spain!
Didn’t you have a neighbor once, who was obsessed with the notion of a “master race”?
My dad was the poet... Maybe I’ll dig it up out of the scapes and post it!
Just a couple of weeks ago I encountered a Down’s Syndrome girl at the local grocery store. She smiled and waved at me, and I smiled and waved back. Beautiful people.

That is beautiful! Yes, you should find that.
These kinds of people.... Someone needs a good @$$ kicking. i volunteer to hand out the first one.
"These kinds of people might annoy other guests."
I going to throat punch someone.
Liberals can’t stand Downs Syndrome kids, because in their worldview, these precious kids should have been aborted. I believe that Trig is part of the left’s visceral hatred of Sarah Palin. When she came onstage at the Republican Convention in 2008 with this beautiful little baby, so obviouly doted on by his family, liberal heads exploded. They were indignant that he was allowed to live. I think that the Palins’ love for Trig threw liberals’ own selfishness and moral bankruptcy right back in their collective faces. There is a little boy in our church who has Downs, and I think it is impossible to look at him and not smile!
