Bill Maher on Friday once again exposed himself as a total hypocrite.

Minutes after telling his HBO Real Time panel "the Second Amendment is bulls--t," he admitted having two firearms in his house - "one upstairs and one down" - claiming, "As long as we live in the gun country, I ain’t giving up my gun"

Oh, sort of an anti-SWAT? Being SWATted is slang for intentionally calling in a false report leading to a SWAT raid upon a residence. It’s been done to a few well known people. Insidious trend, really. Very illustrative of excess, though.

I have been mystified why no serious drug dealer or other such criminal has not arranged a booby trap house with the intent of killing a bunch of SWAT-types all at once.

Weeks could be spent in setting it up in an abandoned house, and then it could be sterilized of any DNA trace, before giving a known informant information that would be irresistible to the authorities.

Hmmm... I wonder what sort of information would bring a passle of armed IRS, ATF and EPA operatives running to assault an abandoned house?

Good question. We do know that the Department of Education sent in a SWAT team to arrest a woman for student loan fraud, at the home of her ex-husband.

Now that non-police federal agencies are authorized weapons and thugs, if they want them, and some do, were someone to do this, they would have to be specific to get that house raided by the right SWAT team.

This is on top of the 100+ federal police agencies.

Only one thing is for sure: if you are home invaded by masked men who smash down your door and come in guns blazing, if they are criminals, you can shoot them dead; but if they are any kind of police, you will have committed murder, even though the two groups looked and acted in an identical manner.
