> That may sound whacked out, but I sincerely believe the 2a exists to insure the 1a exists. That’s the responsibility we have as citizens of a Republic. Our founding fathers knew exactly what they were doing, as the Bill of Rights were written after the revolution and one failed form of government.
This gal will tell you that all of the amendments were written to support each other and need to co-exist together in order for them all to remin in force. I took one of her Constitution classes:
www.krisannehall.com
She’s a former prosecutor and articulates and lays out 500 years of history that eventually resulted In the formation of the Constitution. She laid out that men who lived under tyrants examined themselves to see what rights were God given and what measures worked to remove tyrants and prevent tyrannies and cronyism from forming. After you consider what they went through you will have a greater appreciation for the rights we still have.
I agree with you as far as the Bill of Rights goes. I have problems with some subsequent amendments particularly the 16a and 17a and some nights after drinking too much the 13a. (Just being honest, look at any major city).
thanks for the info, a quick looks makes me want to check her out.
