Yeah, we need not trade in a left-wing oligarcy or dictatorship for a right wing one. WE could become the monsters we despise. Some of my ancestors were Russian Jews who suffered under the pogroms because of who they were and my grandfather went from Omaha Beach to the horrors of Buchenwald. Myself I would tend to favor more of a libertarian system like in L. Neil Smith's, ""Roswell Texas." but I digress. I see myself as a "right leaning libertarian." My opinion, I'd give the libs the corridor from Boston to DC and east of the Appalachians and perhaps the "left coast." They can have their "Obama Paradise" if they like and keep it as long as they don't threaten us. I favor a peaceful divide.

“I am persuaded that this is a righteous judgement of God on these barbarous wretches, who have imbrued their hands with so much innocent blood; and that it will tend to prevent the effusion of blood for the future, which are satisfactory grounds for such actions which cannot otherwise but work remorse and regret.”
- Oliver Cromwell, referring to the siege and subsequent massacre of Drogheda.

I agree with Cromwell.
