At the end of the clip, you can see the Grizzlies mascot waving bye bye to her as she exits the stadium.

Maybe he could have been a better sport and kissed her, but throwing the drink on him was borderline assault. Gives you a sense of how she might approach other disagreements.

He’s better off.

Good for her!

I remember seeing a couple having dinner in a restaurant and the whole time, the woman (a Moochelle look-alike BTW), did nothing but talk on her cell phone after they ordered through out the whole dinner, completely ignoring her date. She talked on her phone while eating. I kept waiting for him to get up and leave the restaurant without her. He never did, though. It was the rudest thing I'd ever seen.

Allow me to give you a free clue since you appear to need one: When you're out on a date, PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR DATE!

Don't be on the damn' cellphone or "texting" with someone else WHO ISN'T THERE ... pay attention to your date!

He's a fool, and calling her dumping her drink on him for his ignorant boorish self-centered behavior "borderline assault" kinda makes you one too.

Married 27 years, I STILL open doors for my wife, and I never answer the cellphone when we're out on "date night." She has my undivided attention while we're out together. That's not just the smart thing to do, that's the RESPECTFUL thing to do with one's spouse/girlfriend.

"throwing the drink on him was borderline assault."

To me, this not borderline. It constitutes an assault, and she could be charged with a crime. Had it been the other way around, he would probably have been led from the stadium in handcuffs. I don't think he should waste his time with a criminal complaint, and he shouldn't waste any more time with her.

Mila apparently had to kiss Ashton to keep him from looking at his phone for a second. I saw some pictures of the two of them together early in their relationship. His phone was ALWAYS in his hand. It was disgusting.

She could be charged, but has a female ever been charged with assault for such an action, in the entire history of the United States. I doubt it.

It’s possible, but I don’t know of something that would match this incident that might have been prosecuted.

Any man that has a woman charged for assault for dumping a drink on him (for his being a rude, ignorant jerk) should remove his testicles and send his manhood card back to the men's union.

employed people do not often have that luxury. This is particularly true if you are the boss and it is your own business.

If she is that immature, he is better off with an adult.

What makes you think he's (a)employed or (b) owns his own business?

The law removes that choice. She did it in front of witnesses. If the prosecutors want to send a message, his consent is not required.

I repeat myself:

Any man who charges a woman for dumping a drink on an ignorant, rude jerk of a man who should've been paying attention to his date rather than talking on the phone to someone who IS NOT THERE should remove his testicles and send his man card back to the men's union.

Whether that's the jerk who was talking on the phone, or any idiot Prosecutor who for some stupid reason sees fit to charge her with "assault" or any other crime.

MAN THE F UP ALREADY.

Did the drink burn him? Did it put his eye out? Did it cause him to bleed, or did he just get a little wet.

So, if your neighbors hose just happens to get you a bit wet, will you sue? If this was a cup of scalding hot coffee I could see the point, but it was a cold drink for petes sake.

He was rude, he got wet.

I owned my own business for 45 years.

I always had my wife or secretary answer the phone.

I was working out in the field and they knew most of the
information needed to answer questions that were called in.

When we are driving my wife answers the phone so I don't get distracted and run into someone.

In most situations my wife can speak for me.

you and I have no way of knowing what was on the other end of the phone. Social call or Business call. There may be some other reason he did not want to comply with some camera stunk on his face in front of thousands.

For the sake of argument, let's use your assumption that he wasn't being a rude ignorant jerk, and she dumped her drink on him. So? Be a man and walk away. What's wrong with being the bigger person in that scenario?

Don't you get how foolish and frankly un-manly it seems for a man to press charges against a woman for dumping a drink on him?

Still, at least you're not like the jerk up the thread who says she was asking for a broken jaw ... YIKES! That dude has serious anger management issues.
