A statue of the Virgin Mary was beheaded and the head was stolen between April 27 and 30 out of the 2600 block of South Trenton Drive.

Beheading, hmmm... who fits that MO?
Maybe it was some radical splinter of the Missouri Synod...

I love playing guess the state or city. Seems everyone knows where South Trenton Drive is except for me.

New Jersey. Trenton is the capital of New Jersey.
To: nickcarraway
Wrong on this one. One could guess that by the street name but after some searching it looks like a Michigan online paper.

Thanks for the ‘Geography Lesson’ Gov Christie.. <: <:
Howsomever, after a ‘quick’ ‘scan’ this is apparently in Michigan.
At Least the article quoted HERE is a tweet/blog originating in MI

My apologies, I didn’t realize.
To: Old Sarge
After a search it looks like Trenton, Michigan not too far across the river from Windsor, Ontario Canada. There’s also a South Trenton Drive in Colorado but can’t find any listed in NJ.

Not busting your chops, Nick. Just pointing out the report’s origin. HGC is right: these news blogs are notorious for not mentioning where they’re blogging from.

Off topic, but I wonder if it is the same reason why so many companies (some that I know are one-man outfits) never give a contact address on their websites, but instead will say things like “serving the Western United States, etc.”

Wasn’t there a head from a statue found floating in the river in NYC? There were pics of that head they found. Related?
