The FTX bullet works to extend the effective range of many cartridges used in lever-action rifles.
An FTX bullet is a type of hunting bullet produced by Hornady Manufacturing. The FTX bullet provides improved performance over older styles of bullets, particularly when it ids used in lever-action rifles with tubular magazines. Though Hornady designed the bullet for use in lever-action rifles, hunters and shooters can also use the bullet in other rifles, muzzleloaders (with a sabot) and revolvers.
Seems to be more accurate out of my carry sidearm, too.
The only “polymer-Ball Capped” Ammo I use at this time is Power Ball in my S&W .357 Mag, this is a 100 Grain Jacketed Lead Bullet capped with a polymer ball. With a velocity of 1450fps / Energy of 467ft/lbs. it will get the job done.
Running the Critical Defense ammo in all five of our Kel-Tec P3ATs. Good stuff, and gives us a nice feeling - we refer to this ammo as our Hallmark get well card. Also put Crimson Trace lasers on all of them. In addition they all have the larger magazines. Wife is trained to point the red dot where she wants the bullets to go. We both have CC cards and are street legal.
Critical Defense and 9mm together in the same sentance does not compute other than as a marketing slogan.....try something that starts with a .4....
I like these better. http://m.hornady.com/store/Critical-Duty/
Now that Remington has sold its soul to Obama, Hornady looks great.
F Remington.
PS Where on earth did you get the Hornady?
Mexico?
Good penetration and weight retention.
Critical Duty +P test.

This round is a little bit longer, so you want to make sure it feeds reliably in your weapon.
