Me three. Roth could have lost his life if that contract wasn’t followed correctly. I kind of doubt that Beyonce is in the same situation.

Because of the risk to both gear and human life if it wasn’t Fire, electrical short, malfunction of stage equipment...at that rate, YES it’s sane to make sure a place doesn’t fudge weight for props or juice for your gear.

She’s batshit crazy tho, far beyond “Make sure they know the stage rigging has to hold X lbs and the electrical can handle X watts.”
