'Aliens' Messed With US, Soviet Nukes - US Airmen
RIA Novosti ^ | May 1, 2013

WASHINGTON - In the midst of the Cold War on several occasions, nuclear missiles at US Air Force bases were mysteriously shut down, according to US servicemen who said they witnessed the failure of the heavily guarded missile systems.

But they don't blame America's Cold War enemy, the Soviet Union; they say aliens from space did it.

"This was something Russia could have developed, but it turns out they didn't develop this and we don't have it either - to be able to shut down nuclear weapons with a beam of light," David Scott, a former sergeant in the US Air Force, told RIA Novosti at a conference in Washington on encounters with extraterrestrials.

Space aliens in the 1960s might be the explanation of why Obama has no real records of his birth.

There’s quite a few coming out of the military and science communities claiming a spiritual or even satanic component to these things. A battle for mankind’s soul, as it were.

IF we had the ability to go back and change the time stream for the better, should we? Who gets to define "better"?

Are we acting as the instruments of God when we change time or are we defying Him?

” they also would have the ability to see in the dark without lights?”

Maybe they weren’t just simple lights?

Ghettobirds (helicopters) lookin’ for suspect #2.

The thing most people miss is that any references to depth perception go out the window in total darkness like that, and light sources are far easier to see on a clear dark night as well.

Yea, they were so advanced that they could not see them but the simple earthlings could. So if they could not see the lights on their on craft, why were they there in the first place? That would be like carrying an extra person in a NASCAR race.

Their behavior is more like Ferengi. I always wondered who gave the Ferengi the technology for space travel. They clearly didn’t think it up on their own. Much like Musims with today’s technology.

“wouldn’t I just show up in empty space considering not just the movement of the earth but also the solar system as a whole?”

I concur!

"I doubt aliens give a hoot whether Earthlings blow up the planet or not."

If there are really aliens, it would be a mistake assume we share the same values or motivations. In fact, we would likely not even share the same sense of what is real and what is not, and perhaps they would not even have the same notion of time, or "the present", that we do. In short, who knows what makes them tick.

NO ONE wants to answer #64?

Come on folks. It’s an easy question.

Again;
Maybe they weren’t just lights. Maybe sensors of some sort?

Easy question, eh?

I suppose it IS easy, if people aren’t afraid to assert their answers based on their worldview. And it is entirely a worldview issue.

The answer depends on, for you, what word follows the comma:

“In the beginning, ...”

Doc, let it be said from someone who was a T&E (Test & Evaluation) specialist at Ft. Huachuca’s USAEPG, you have no inkling of what “toys” we have that are tested at night specifically because of the reasons I stated.

All I can say is that at this point in time you have no idea and neither do I, but I have the experience to have an inkling.

You get the prize ;)

That was my entire point. People will say ‘unpossible!” at the drop of a hat. But if they actually try to answer it honestly they have to believe something one way ot the other and stand behind it. Thus, so few (one) stepped up to the plate.

The problem with time travel is it would also require interstellar travel, in that the Sun is traveling at 486,000 miles per hour around the center of the milky way (about 250 km/s). And the Milky Way is traveling through space at 630 km per second. The speed of light is 299 792.458 km/s. So for every 340 years of time you travel you also have to travel roughly one light year, which would take a couple of years, assuming you had a serious means of propulsion. (This is just adding the speeds, which is wrong, but you get the idea.)

Having spent a great deal of time in the “ghetto”, I can tell you that is not the cops or sheriffs. The LEOs are either “orbiting”, or taking it easy at altitude flying in a straight line high above everything, or streaking fast and low (enough to rattle the windows.)

The first Mrs. Lurkin used to refer to the local chopper “ace”, who thought it was his job to roar at low altitude over her part of South Central, “Air Wolf.”
