Using false color may help NASA evaluate the conditions on places like Saturn but it deceives people seeing these pictures into thinking that space is a lot more beautiful than it really is.

I don't know - if I'm ever in a position to view Saturn from that distance with my own eyes, my first thought won't be "hey, this doesn't look as colorful as those NASA photos".
