Latvia has quite a few sink holes and caverns below. This is probably the ground eroded beneath that goes down into a cavern.

Wow... I don’t think I would’ve been standing that close on the shore to that. Pretty amazing seeing the huge chunks of ice and debris disappear like that.
Still... That’s nothing compared to what happened to Lake Peigneur. Of course that lake, and the trees, and even barges sunk into a salt mine.

Not a sinkhole but the result of opposing currents. This happens frequently during flooding.
I wonder how many liberals you could stuff into that thing before it started spitting them back out?
