I refuse to Pronounce CAIR as CARE, pronounce it as "Kah-Ear" ~ Vanity

Posted on 04/21/2013 6:28:54 AM PDT by GraceG

I am sick of everyone pronouncing the American arm of the muslim brotherhood as "Care" as if they really give a rats hind end about anyone who isn;t one of them.

I especially get irked when so called conservative news organisations and newreaders pronounce the wastes as "Care".

I prefer to pronounce their name as the alien sounding "Kah-Ear" as their goals are very much alein to the freedoms of other groups especially women.

I like it! Reminds people of what it really is.
Good idea. Thanks!

I am going to try calling into several shows this week and intentionally pronounce it as Kah-Ear as well.

Similar to pro-Islam Governor of Red Hampshire Maggie Hassan...I have yet to hear anyone pronounce her name correctly...we get the ‘Americanized’ pronunciation.

I prefer a different pronunciation of CAIR.

“Kaffir”. It is an Arabic word with three meanings, all insulting. The third one in particular seems to describe CAIR to a ‘t’.

1) Kaffir is used in an Islamic doctrinal sense, usually translated as “unbeliever,” “disbeliever,” or “infidel.” Alternatively “black” as in negro, even if the black person is a Muslim. The Arabic equivalent to the ‘n’ word.

2) Kaffir also refers to a person who rejects the god of Islam.

3) (The relevant one) A Kaffir is a person who hides, denies, or conceals the truth.

In any event, when faced with a representative from CAIR, the intentional mispronunciation of their name to Kaffir would drive them into a serious froth. It should be done with some caution, for you will in effect, be calling them the ‘n’ word.

Works for me.
