We do need to bring to your attention that a magazine with that almost
exact font and name does in fact already exist and has for over a year.
Written by fantastic professional and amateur writers who are all on a
preparedness journey. By preppers for preppers (and the un-aware as well).
After a year in digital (free) the first print issue is being mailed as
you read this. http://www.PrepareMag.com

To avoid confusion or infringement, you may need to look at other options
for your publication. As you can see the font and name of this established
publication are quite similar to your suggested project.

With other publications out there such as Self-Reliance Illustrated, Back
Woods Home and the Prepared Times e-zine, we certainly don’t believe
anyone has a corner on preparedness. We just don’t want to have any
confusion between publications.

We know you have a lot to offer and appreciate your attention to this
matter. We bring it up to make sure we are all serving those who want to
get prepared in the least confusing and most helpful way possible.

Of course we would be delighted for your readership and yourself to
contribute articles and thus allow your voice and expertise to be shared.
Please browse around the site and see what there is already offered and if
there is a place you would care to be involved.

I wasn’t aware of the similarities (I’d never been to “Prepare Magazine”), but I’ve already been in contact with “Prepare” and Jim Robinson. Fortunately, since this is our project, we can call it whatever we want.

A few clicks in Photoshop and we’ll feel all better.

Prepping probably is on most FReeper's list of things to attend to.
Could FR please consider raising the awareness level up Higher by adding a "Preparedness Workshop" (or other name) to the "Browse By Forum" List complete with its own well considered Topic list.
Selecting by preparation Topic might help to satisfy the level of specific interests expressed on this thread. There seems to be a need.
The importance of being Prepared is even more pressing each passing day.
Our country needs good healthy prepared FReepers.
