Love him, but he’s not political material.
Once he apologized for telling the truth, he became damaged goods. The Left destroyed him.
They’ve destroyed Sarah Palin, too, but at least she never apologized, so she still has cred with me.
Even if he’s not political material his life story is a good example.

Lesson learned. I’m pretty sure after having journeyed from troubled youth to gifted neurosurgeon, he can come back from a week of being chewed out by a few angry and divisive cable TV pundits.
So you can’t watch it online? (Don’t have cable)
(Which is my only gripe about the guy) We don't need candidates who think like that. We have too many of them already.
When did he talk guns?
Major fail! (But he's still the guy I'd want for a neuro-surgeon!)
The only thing I ever heard him say was that something needed to be done about the guns in the hands of urban kids that are using them to kill each other.
Anyway, I don’t look at him as someone to vote for or be a savior, but I’m glad he’s using the platform to bring attention to some of our nation’s problems. I think this is a good thing if he can reach some people.
That was a fantastic movie. Thanks for the heads up. Dr. Carson is a remarkable man and doctor, and those students from Johns Hopkins who demanded he be removed as their commencement speaker should be ashamed of themselves.
He sometimes comes off as someone who has not thought through all his ideas. But so did Romney and Rand Paul etc to a large extent and they are the very definition of career politicians or political families.
