I tried it as some of my circle of friends swore by it, and they are not liars like Democrats. It worked for my lower back pain. The weird part surfer dudes I hung out with when I’m at the beach knew the same acupuncturist so why not?

No reason why not. Traditional and nontraditional medicines still rely on one basic premise. The mind and belief of the receiver.

The mind plays a very large part in the healing process. Therefore , if one believes their chosen treatment helps, it is so. I am not being a smart-ass.

I believe that the mind works in tandem with the treatment provided. Remember the book “ laughter is the best medicine”? The basic premise was, a positive outlook, not necessarily the medicine itself.

For my mom, she was not a believer in eastern methodology , she tried it to please a friend - not herself.
