I see you’re being a pinhead.
Dad did it but went to China to have it done, said they only know how to do it. Helped is cancer pains.
But I don’t believe in it but whom am I to say...
yes but it brings its own pains....
My aching back is nada. God bless your Dad.
Yes, but does it help with using the keyboard shift key?
WHAT SHIFT KEY?
from the book AIRPORT: the airport manager’s secretary didn’t like upper case. had a mechanic file the letters off the arms of her typewriter. been doing this, except for offuicial correspondence, since i early ‘90s.
Yeah. Clint Jr. who hates needles, did it for his football injuries said it didn’t do bupkis.
Cancer vs back injuries I’m going with anything that helps.
Not Scientology treatments, which I know nothing about.
I know that my mom, a Baptist,, tried acupuncture on the advice of a Unitarian friend, who it had worked for greatly. And it didn't help her a bit.
I know that I have tried holistic medicine on the advise of a friend with a questionable religious practice and it has not worked for me, yet it has worked for her.
My conclusion? Belief is tied to healing within the parameters of my experience. I've had no experience with Scientology and have no beliefs or need to provide burden of proof for something I have not claimed a belief in.
When I mention Scientology specifically, sing its praises, then question me specifically. Until that time, take your self righteous, presumptuous, pipe mad smoke it somewhere else.
Yes, acupuncture is great for back pain! My doctors, Dr. Suh and Dr. Bong did me a world of good in that regard.
I had a tire try acupuncture. It felt deflated afterward.
Funny stuff. I'll bet car salesman love you. Haha!
What is wrong with you? Drawing equations where no equation exists.
If deflection is the only way you can be right, then have at it! And be informed.
Since you brought it up, holistic medicine is a perfect interpretation of how I buy cars.
My 2001 jeep Cherokee is paid for because I believed I could pay for it.
My 2003 jeep wrangler is paid for because I belived I could pay for it.
My 2011 Chevrolet SS camaro is paid for because I believed I could pay for it.
My home is paid for because I believed I could pay for it.
My motor home is paid for because belived I could pay for it.i
Ha ha yourself. You want to go for round two of what I could pay for?
Do you think demeaning me makes your life better? I hope it does, but I suspect your superiority is all in your mind..........actually, I know it is.
LOL I’m glad you cleared that up!
Check your closet for your big boy pants; I'm sure you have some.
Calm down. You’ve got some thin skin. I was just ribbing you a little for saying something ridiculous. Now you’ve gone and itemized your vehicle purchases to defend against hyperbole.
Check your closet for your big boy pants; I’m sure you have some.
You were just ribbing me for saying something ridiculous? And my snarky reply was because of my thin skin, not directed at your snarky comment? And, of course, it is beneath me to defend myself against Your Hyporbole because you are an innocent bystander ?
Your “hyperbole” was innocent and smart, but my answer was, well, I guess not.
I’m going to concede to you as I have done others of great ego on this forum. For you are faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap small buildings in a single bound.
You,can say what you want because you have some sort of preconceived notion of your own power. If that is what you need, well, I concede it to you.
Why don’t you, and those like you, go attack liberals for a change?Or am I just too easy of a target to pass up.
My step-sister recently had accupuncture and ended up in the emergency room with a partially collapsed lung. If you give it a try, do a LOT of checking up on whoever you plan to go to.
After three sessions per week for 4 weeks I tried and bought a Teeter Hang-up inversion table. Got results with it that were better and more lasting. Nothg permanent, but better results and no recurring costs.
I tried it for lower back pain and sciatic problems, helped immensely.
Its been used for thousands of years and can work. The effects can be subtle in some cases. Not something you should let just anyone do as an inexperienced person can cause even more problems.
I think the White Hut should have a resident acupuncturist at a salary of at least $300 thousand.
On a daily basis (that is whenever the phony and his family are in town) he should stick needles into the whole motley crew.
For all the good it did me, someone could have stuck me full of holes...
didn’t help me!
I don’t get the point of acupuncture.
Sounds like your story had a "happy ending".
My fiancee has had extreme pain in his hand and back from a climbing accident years ago. No money right now for surgery so he went to the acupuncterist and 5 months later almost no pain. I have to admit it was amazing.
My brother in law has had extreme pain in both legs for a couple of years and has been to a million doctors about it. We talked him into going for acupuncture a couple of mos ago and after 5 sessions he is walking around as good as new.
Amazing comments on Amazon about this book. Very reasonable price...and I'm going to buy it.
Thanks for the heads up!!!
I will absolutely second the motion as to usefulness of Dr. Sarnos’ books. You don’t need to read all of them. Either of the first two (the linked one is one of them) will do. Simple and awesome. $2-3 used on Amazon.
Yep. Had an accident at work a couple of years ago. Two disc bulges between L 4-5 and L 5-6. Did weeks of physio with no results. They recommended accupuncture. Amazing. It doesn’t cure the problem but it did give me considerable pain relief. I’m now a firm believer.
When you first read the book, what he says might sound like very new age hokum. Please keep an open mind.
I first heard about this Doctor on the Howard Stern radio show. He was a patient of the Doctor. Swears he changed his life and cured his life long back pain.
I told him "you don't stick sharp things into me, and I will return the favor".
GR, if I didn’t hit a nerve, I wouldn’t have felt a ping.:-)
It’s just talk. So go find your big boy pants ok?
Dude, please. If you want to get acupuncture, eat organic food, and recycle your fondue silverware, no skin off my back. The world needs ditch diggers too.
I tried everything for a blown out disc because I got hurt on the job and workmen’s comp wouldn’t get me to a professional until I hit each and every shaman on their list. A year later with 24/7 cramp in my right quadriceps and a leg filled with charcoal embers I got to see a neurosurgeon who promptly operated. Back to work 7 weeks later and been working for two years since. Permanent damage due to having disc pressure on a nerve for a year includes no feeling in my leg below the knee on the dermis and 5 o’clock pain. But bearable pain that becomes something like an old friend you hope not to see but he always shows up. LOL They tell me that I am a member of the 1% who returned to work with the damage I had. I told them if they weren’t morons I could have returned to work much sooner and still be able to know when my grandkids are messing with me by writing on my dead leg without me knowing it.:-} To my neuro guy. Thanks Doc!
