Won’t most posters on this thread have up to about 4% Neanderthal ancestry?
Not by dint of inheritance or any such. Any genes we share with Neanderthals would amount to some original designer using a few of the same low-level genetic parts on dissimilar projects. Similarly, banking software and rocket telemetry programs could easily share a few of the same low-level C language math functions; that does not indicate that NASA’s software is hacked from J.P. Morgan’s.
