“I see a lot of history.”

Clearly one man's "history" is another man's junk.

In Indy we tore down the Hoosier (RCA) Dome after they built Lucas Snake Oil Stadium.

Even though we taxpayers owed more on it in bonds than it cost to build originally due to municipal helocs.

Thank you Bart Peterson (D).

When you grew up in Houston and in 1965 still did not have air conditioning and had endured non-air conditioned schools, then attending a Colt 45 (Houston Astros original name) game while sitting in a soft chair and with AC was a very space age experience.

We also saw the man with the jet pack flying around inside the Dome, America used to have a bright future before the immigration law was changed that year.

Rename it the Mickey Leland Great Hall of the Entitled Masses. No renovations necessary.

Tear down or renovate the Astrodome for the Texans to play in. Reliant Stadium is so old and obsolete, it might even be over ten years old. Isn’t it time for the NFL to begin a new round of extorting $ for new stadiums?

Indoor pistol and rifle range. 100-yard rifle range right down the field (actually, you could do five or six rifle ranges there, one stacked atop the other). Pistol ranges along both field sidelines, facing out (perpendicular to the field)

Alternative use: New Magpul factory location.

Door #3: All of the above!

C'mon, it's *Texas*.

They should have told the Lastros to take a hike instead of building them a new playpen. There was nothing wrong the Dome. The loser Texannes didn’t need a new playpen either.(They’d be in last place too if they were in a real division- every other division team kicked their tails) The Dome would be fine for both of these losers.

I know it’s been years, but my uncle got the contract for most of the steel in the concrete for the Astrodome, Astro Domain and the parking areas. Got rich on that contract alone.

Another idea.
Fill it up with sickos of the like that kill babies and let them eat each other.
Send them from around the country.
