If there are 4 super conferences of 16 teams (Big-10, SEC, Big 12, Pac-12) who agree to just play each other and Notre Dame isn’t part of it, NBC will drop ‘em. Notre Dame will be reduced to playing I-AA schools. Who will be left for them to play?

I think it would be fun if they tiered it like European soccer leagues....

Take the best 13 teams, and play a 12-game schedule against all of the other teams. The Top-Four teams then enter a playoff to determine the champion.

The bottom three teams get demoted for the next season, and the top three teams from the “Second Division” get promoted.

Dream on.Those “Super Confrences” aren’t going to just play themselves for one. I’m not a fan of ND but the brand has value in footbal and is not about to lose it that easy. This 4 ,16 team confrences has been talked about for awhile, problem is, they can’t keep teams under contract long enough to do it. The SEC started this and is the only conference that can pull it off so far. It will be interesting to see how all this plays out, and if the NCAA survives. ND football will though
