When I was 10, my pedo uncle started in on me and my folks did nothing.
When I was 14, God sent me my first angel, a stray Dobermann.
The uncle stopped.
Ever since then, He’s sent me hairy angels every time I needed one.
Some literally saved my life.
Others saved my sanity when the residual ‘issues’ from the uncle became unbearable.
They all kept me going, one way or the other.
God is good and so is Dog.
