Don’t have time to post a pic, but reminds me of the “Sylvester the Cat” toons where Sylvester was boxing against kangaroo, which was assumed to be a giant mouse. Sylvester’s son would put a paper bag over his head because of the shame of his father getting beaten by a mouse.
The absolute funniest was when Sylvester was coached to “keep his left up”. So Sylvester charged back into the fight with his left hand raised high above his head! Too funny!!!
I used the same system in the mid 60s to get rid of the mice in my brother’s shop. Worked like a charm.
I got the idea from reading about the old sourdoughs in Alaska using the system to get rid of shrews. In their case, the shrews became bait for more shrews, since they are cannibals.
I used to love Rat Patrol!!
Thin(ned) oil of the edible variety works. They aren’t put off by the smell, and will sink instead of swim.
“The “mutated rats” have been running rampant in the capital, as cats are scared off by their giant size
Rats, rats, rats
They fought the dogs
And killed the cats.
Who ya gonna call ... ?”
The only solution is to call Mossad headquarters. Those are rats were created by the Mossad.
PS The rats Iran released photos of are clearly just juveniles. Mature ‘Mosssad Rats” (Ratus israelensis mossadus) eat cats and dogs weighing less that 50 pounds.
This data can be verified on eleventy seven in the Twelth of Never issue of the Journal of Mossad Animal Research.
I was thinking,
Who ya gonna call ... ?
The Pied Piper !
That’s what the quote is from. The overmatched cats are not without precedent. Medieval Europe ... Modern day Iran ... it’s just a question of favorable conditions.
ROUS?
What about the fire swamp?
Mark
“”We use chemical poisons to kill the rats during the day and the snipers at night...”
Okay, why are they poisoning their snipers? How can they expect to recruit more if they do that?
Good idea!
I’m jottin’ that one down, too.
That is a possum
