Pluto’s diameter is 1,485 miles.

11 And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.
What’s the name in Dholuo... Obama?

He’s correct. Wikipedea indicates a mean radius of 1161km, for a diameter of 1451 miles, so an equatorial diameter of 1485 miles sounds about right.

Thanks for the diagram. I took a couple of astronomy courses in college a long time ago, and my dad was quite interested in it too, so when I was young out family did a little star gazing. I will relay the information to my 95 year old mother who was very interested in what was going on “the day of the asteroids”. She is not as sharp as she used to be, but this topic surely tweaked her curiosity.

Wonderful! I’m glad your mom will enjoy it.
Some of the best times with our family have been *looking up at night*. I don’t think you ever outgrow the awe of it all. :)

Oh man.... We had two huge booms last night, felt throughout SoAZ... People were posting (locally) that it was the released criminal illegal aliens celebrating ... noooo. Supposedly, it wasn’t meteors hitting us :0)

Yes, the warming earth attracted the asteroid much like a female cat in heat in a neighborhood.
We’ll see more swarming at us soon!

To: BenLurkin
It was my meteor. It was taken from my truck where I thought it was secure. The idiot that broke the lock off of my truck tool box did not realize what he had taken. When the pawn shop he went to told him it had no value, he tossed it in the storm drain. Due to fracking that was taking place nearby making the whole area quite flamable and some idiot tossing a lit cigarette into the storm drain 2 blocks away... well no need to explain it further. I know this has happened to many of you too. Thank goodness I had the meteor insured.
