No charge for the bus ride and 15% discount on the next!
Can you imagine the stories that can come out of this?
Each passenger has at least ten vignettes of real life OMG.
Sounds like these folks hit $50,000 on a $5 dollar bet, just another company to sue!
The vacation you will always remember...
Planes trains and automobiles comes to real life.
Bad Poop!
If this happened to me, I would buy 100$ worth of lotto tickets when i got home, because I would assume all my bad luck would be all used up.
Of course that night my house would blow up due to a gas leak knowing my luck...
This whole operation has been so FUBAR, one would think the government had been running it. That liner company is going to owe some huge $$$ when all is said and done.
A backup power source and additional emergency water reserves would’ve helped greatly. But, hey... White Star Lines didn’t think they needed more than half the required number of lifeboats for the Titanic either.
It's called Obama’s America.
You KNOW there had to have been at least one guy that just didn't care and was determined to enjoy his one vacation of the year regardless. While everybody else was crying and running around he just kept sunbathing out by the pool and reading a novel like nothing out of the ordinary was going on.
Reminds me of my first cruise fiasco....the S. S. Norway...caught on fire as we waited to board. Our luggage was already loaded on, so they put us up for the night in local motel, but since it was big football weekend we only got one night then had to leave. Got to airport and prepared to fly home, got to the end of the runway, pilot came out and announced “my motor won’t motor!”.....so back to the airport to sit for hours waiting for a replacement plane to show up. By the time we got headed home our family was very worried about us. Nothing like these folks endured but for us it was a terrible experience.
I was stuck inside an airplane once at Heathrow, because the stairs they pull up to the aircraft would not work, and neither would the chute.
Cruise companies make it extremely difficult to sue them ... all passengers sign waivers when purchasing their tickets.
Enterprising men and women had fun ... eh'betch'a
Ah... OK... However, they may want to try to make amends anyway. This will hurt their brand, big time.
I’m willing to bet it’s not over yet. You can get even more gross and nasty details when some of the passengers start showing up on Oprah, Couric, Anderson Fruiter, etc. They probably made the first offers to the girl who kissed the ground.

Listening to the non-stop late evening coverage on the cable channels revealed that complete strangers came together and bonded, and many of the passengers they interviewed had formed Bible-study groups! And almost without exception, they praised the efforts of the crew to make them as comfortable as they could under the conditions. Bet the interviews surprised the heck out of CNN who were looking for uniformly angry passengers (the first two ladies they interviewed provided that fodder but the ones after that were just happy to be home, made new friends and praised the crew).
