This whole operation has been so FUBAR, one would think the government had been running it. That liner company is going to owe some huge $$$ when all is said and done.
A backup power source and additional emergency water reserves would’ve helped greatly. But, hey... White Star Lines didn’t think they needed more than half the required number of lifeboats for the Titanic either.
Cruise companies make it extremely difficult to sue them ... all passengers sign waivers when purchasing their tickets.

That government incompetence is spreading into the private sectors as companies slash costs just to stay in business; we are descending into a 3rd world toilet (the Mexification of America). Capable people are let go for cheaper substitutes, and I’d think inspections are routinely missed or done by incompetents. “Made in America” is dead, and has been replaced by cheap Red Chinese garbage.
