“This kid needs to fight back ... kick the living crap out of the kids that bully him.”
Right. The bully and his gang. Not all bullying is one-on-one, and “kicking the crap” out of the bully, much like the 100lb woman in a movie “kicking the crap” out of a 250lb man, great fantasy but hardly a given reality.
“It really doesn’t matter if he loses a fights against bullies.”
It certainly does. Pounding a weak blob is not as entertaining pounding a weaker person fighting back.
“At least he is able to say that he stood up to them.”
That is true.
“And the real outcome is once you stand up to a bully, it is no longer worth the effort for the bully to pick on you if he knows he will be in a fight and will be hurt.”
The “real outcome” is it is likely the bully (and/or his gang) beat the stuffing out of the kid and get great pleasure in doing so. Look at bully/gang behavior today—fighting and beating among other thugs are normal behavior. . .and that means getting hurt and this apparently doesn’t stop them, so why would they stop when beating/bullying a kid that might fight back but lose every time.
Nice you were such a strong fighter that your wild attack on your bully ended so neatly. Made-for-TV movie moment, for sure.
And I guess you would have liberal teachers solve the kids problems, like that has been working. You suggest that he his dealing with a gang. I didn’t get that from the video. But if he is, there are other solutions to that problem.
