All plastic water bottles should be banned.
how on earth would you do that?
Is drain cleaner normally stored in baby bottles?
I am not buying this one. If it is a auto shop the bottles would be marked.
Distantly related story. My cousin, who is a neonatologist had a premie he was treating and the kid was pretty weak. The baby was in a sealed Isolette or whatever they call them these days, and was only touched by gloved, gowned medical professionals as the kid had no immunity to germs. The family took up a round the clock vigil. After a few days the kid started to exhibit bizarre symptoms and died. The autopsy showed the cause of death to be herpes.
Grandma, unwatched, in the middle of the night, picked up the kid and kissed him, giving the kid her herpes. She was so ignorant she could not be made to understand that she had killed the kid because, in her mind, all she did was kiss him.
In Concord Massachusetts, they are. Never underestimate the ability of liberals to ban the most random objects.
Wouldn’t a toddler naturally reject or spit out cleaning fluid? I really don’t understand how the kid would drink enough to kill himself.
You’d think Grandma would have had sense enough to at least smell the contents of an obviously unsealed bottle prior to feeding it to a child.
When I was younger I was always told to NEVER store chemicals in beverage containers.
One swig could burn through his esophagus and cause swelling and trauma that would cut off his breathing and kill him
I'm sure Cal OSHA will be happy to issue a citation and fine.
Thanks for the explanation . . . I guess some of that stuff can be pretty corrosive and powerful. Sad story.
Dreadful. Poor baby. RIP.
Crap happens these are what become cautionary tales for a reason for all of us to learn from other people’s misfortune..
I guess if we were all protected by the state what would we be?
Sheep...
