GO RAVENS!
Go Falcons!
I couldn’t possibly care less about pro football. But then, I have a reason. I live in the Cleveland area.
San Francisco 31
Atlanta 17
New England 27
Baltimore 20
A Ravens victory would deflate the arrogance of New England fans today...ergo, go Baltimore!
Predictions:
SFO over ATL: 35-13
NEW over BAL: 31-24
Pats’ fans arrogant? Don’t know many up here who really care much, no emotional investment. They ain’t the Sox. They ain’t even the Celtics or Bruins.
Today here in Denver it's partly cloudy, highs in the upper 40's expected and calm winds. If the Broncos had managed to get by the Ravens last weekend they would be playing New England here at Mile High. With these optimum conditions, unlike last weekend with the temperature in the low teens, it would be great for players and fans alike. Unfortunately the Sports Authority Field at Mile High will be empty today and my AFC Championship Game tickets will go unused. :(
Spring training starts February 21st. Just sayin’.
So the Falcons and Ravens are underdogs?
Falcons by 10.
You’re kidding...my wife almost got trampled at the grocery store yesterday by Pats fans loading up with deli trays, pizzas and such for the ‘big game’...and this isn’t even the Super Bowl. The outdoors will be quiet as a mouse between 4:30 and 8 this evening in Red Hampshire. Like they say; I am a ‘fan’ of any team playing a New England sports team on any given day.
I believe so...
I would rather watch the game at home on a very good TV screen.
In person the game is fast with everybody sprinting. At home you can better follow the action because of the great camera work, and the game seems to be slowed down so you can better see what is happening.
At the game you see it from only one perspective- your seat. I like the multi perspectives of several camera angles.
And at home you are spared the hassle of getting to and from the stadium. Plus you get to watch the game with people of your choice. -Tom
ain’t predicting, cuz your’s look good.
but rooting for NEW & ATL
An AFC Championship game, with decent weather, is something you don't want to miss ... presuming you have a dog in the fight. The atmosphere in the stadium is electric ... the fans are totally charged ... it's an experience you don't want to miss. You can't replicate that experience at home or a sports bar. Unfortunately for Bronco fans they will have to wait at least another year.
I’m for anyone that doesn’t have a Manning on their team.
GO NINERS!!!
Go Falcons! And is it possible for all the others to lose? ;-)
yes.
Yes.
Yep ... folks said that about Denver too.
The Harbaugh Bowl? 49ers v Baltimore?
As Yogi Berra said "That's why they play the game."-Tom

Go Falcons!! Where I live now.
Thanks Pete!
I second that emotion!
The Boston Patriots played the American Football League's first-ever game, against the Denver Broncos on September 9, 1960.
The Broncos won their first game, also the first AFL game, 1310 over the Boston Patriots.-Tom
The Niners win and cover, the Pats win but don’t cover.
Falcons 42. 49s 21.
My predictions:
NE fancy-pants: 42
BAL thugs: D +17 O: 20-7=13(Team total 30)
SF Gore-plus-that-K-dude: 35
ATL HowDidWeGetHeres: 17

I thought the band that sang National anthem was good. None of this quirky stuff.
BTW, I’m really getting tired of seeing Mike Tyson.
but hate the 'Please Drop the Soap!" 69ers and them New Cheatin' Patticakes-- So, remembering where the Gipper...
always put his faith--
I see a Very Fowl Super Bowl XLVII with those Black Byrds...
and Vick's Old Barnyard Peckers winning today.
I agree, Bend, but since my fake on-line girlfriend died...
I find it hard to focus on football games--
Also my new fake on-line girlfriend...
keeps me totally...
satisfied!
Bendy, why don't I...
ever get hot fake on-line girlfriends?
Hey, big, don't you remember when I...
was your fake on-line girlfriend?
Yeah, Elaine...
I do--
Boy, she couldn't dance for shucks...
could she?
Yes, Elaine couldn't dance, but she surely cleaned the rust...
off my steel balls!
Queeg? Wash your hand and stop calling me 'Shirley' and...
Go Ravens!
Go Niners! I'm right behind each of you...
all the way!
Drink up! My Pats...
are a lock to win!
Game...
on!
Don’t mark it in as the “Harbaugh Bowl” just yet, Atlanta stormed in with a 7-0 lead. Matt Ryan and Julio Jones look really impressive.
Holy crap!
1s Q stats — TOP: SF 3 mins, ATL 12 mins. Yrds: SF -2 ATL 182. Score: SF 0, ATL 10.
Now seconds into Q2 SF 0 ATL 17.
This a street mugging.

It’s time for SF to break out of the prevent offense. WTH is Harbaugh thinking?
Props to Atlanta, though. Ryan looks great.
17-14 Atlanta, Ryan’s QB rating 148; Kaepernick 127.
24-14 Falcons at the half.
It’s amazing that Ryan is doing this with one running back.
The Dirty Birds choke once again!
