My luck wouldn’t be that good.

Isn’t there a -b or -t flag that needs to be there?

That’s the corker that typically mucks my interspecies communication.

Thank heavens we got rid of endianness when we went 32-bit or it would forever be a mess.

“Though art denied for thy token has not the number of mine ring!”
“And lo, there upon the switch sat the very hobgoblin that had bemuddled the entire LAN with his foul collisons..”

cp scp xcopy mv

Depends. —help normally gives proper syntax and options. Connect strings depend on afp or smb settings.

-b and -t aren’t used in scp. cp and mv do.

I have foiled thee, foul hobgoblin. For no longer do I place my tokens on the ring, nor do I place them in the star. I have taken a switch to the token, and it is no more.

Try scp with a -o. Should then allow user@host and an option to accept the cert. Force secure through ssh.

Worst it’ll do is tell you “no”.

See? There are good reasons for certain things, but if there are not toddlers on the scene, then things like up or down shouldn’t matter.

LOL!

I hate to say it, but for just a week, I would like to relive my life with a toddler...

First couple of screaming fits would have you change your mind.

Unless you meant “relive my life AS a toddler”... That I could understand. ;-)

No, I actually said it right the first time. The only toddler I had was my son, and he was such a good baby that there were never any screaming fits, no whining, and no tantrums.

(Of course, since he married his current wife, all that has changed.)

I didn’t get my daughter until she was 8 years old, and THAT was when all the screaming fits occurred... ;o|

normally keep it closed so the toddler doesn’t throw unflushable things in it.

Actually, when I lived in the tenements, I had a dog whose rubber bone bounced off one of her fangs and jumped into the commode when flushing commenced. Had to call Roto Rooter. Could ill afford it. Since then, keep the lids down. It's not a male/female thing, it's an economic, budgetary concept.

Now, where's the beer? The celebration needs commencitating.

I thought for a moment I was still in Germany, and I was waiting for the Hanisch truck to deliver my wein und bier und cola.

I should live so long as to see 27DM a month for a booze habit...;o]

We inhabit the Flying Castle. All things are possible here. I merely want to imbibe while celebrating the existence of our FReepers. And I still want a couple of beers! ;-P
