Face it. Politicians don't fear the voting booth.
Common sense | Jan 1 2013 | KittenClaws

Posted on 01/01/2013 10:25:05 PM PST by KittenClaws

It is time we faced facts.

Politicians do not gear the vote. It does not matter why they don't, they don't.

So we need to quit fooling ourselves with this "boy, will he or she pay in 2014 or 2017' for how she or he voted in 2013.

It makes no difference!

The fiscal cliff krap? Is just that.

We are gonna pay, and we are gonna pay, and we can vote until our face turns blue.

It will make do difference.

You who like to look at history to tell the future......look at it!

How long since the conservative vote has made a difference?

The institution of Congress succumbs to the penetration by the left.

This is not the cause of the problem but it is manifestation. We lost this election when we permitted our borders to be porous; when we permitted our academic institutions to be penetrated and converted into instruments of propaganda; when we permitted all of our other institutions such as the Bar Association, medical associations, the League of Women Voters, the Ford foundation, public television, public radio, journalism in general, the rulemaking bureaucracy, the judiciary, and capitalism as expressed in the free market in general. We lost this election when we lost the historical battle over McCarthy and communist penetration leaving whole demographics, such as Chicago and its black population, open to being organized by radical leftists. We lost the present when we lost the battle over history in general.

This vote and the general election which proceeded it are only the consequences of lost battle after lost battle across the board. When the left sought to take over America it did it by infiltrating and co-opting virtually all of our institutions. We cannot expect to prevail from the top down. Politicians are no more or less decent than the rest of the population. We have got to understand that much of our society simply does not share our belief system. We cannot prevail without changing how America thinks. That is what the left set out to do and has so far accomplished brilliantly. It is absurd to ask politicians who are in the business of pandering to the public to stand up against the public or public perception.

It matters not whether we abandon the Republican Party or attempt to reform it. The problem has gone beyond that now.

They don’t fear the vote because most are drones of the ones that own the voting machines..
If you can get a virus(trojan) on your computer easily.. why not a voting machine..

With... you know... UNION mechanics.. monitoring them..
The republican party could care less.. why should I..?

My wife and I were discussing tonight exactly when did votes stop being counted. I know that anytime voter fraud is successful the legal votes didn’t count. But when did it get so computerized that it’s now so easy that the winners are decided by the shadow government and they allow us to think our votes count. The Florida recount was just to make us think we were needed. So, why should they fear our votes? Our votes doen’t count. They haven’t for a long time.

They don’t fear being throated nor do they mind shoving a piece of fence post up their nethers and howling at the moon.

They only fear running out of Vaseline.

Extremely well stated analysis of the pickle we are in.

Very well stated, concise and accurate.

And depressing. But the dark side has had at least 100 years to wear down and infiltrate our most cherished institutions, and they’re not stupid, either.

At this point, I’m at a loss for any solutions that don’t involve a divided country.

"At this point, I’m at a loss for any solutions that don’t involve a divided country."

A divided country is unlikely too, if you mean a formal dissolution of the US. The will for a real armed rebellion against Obama's jackboots just isn't there and Obama would never allow a peaceful secession.

If Benghazi-Coward B. Hussein Obama can avoid being Impeached for murdering 4 Federal employees, then there is no limit to the power that Congress is willing to give him.

Why should they. As one of obama’s intellectual forefather’s once famously said...it doesn’t matter who votes. What matters is who counts the votes.
