If she’s not under 18, there is not a crime. And, in fact depending on the state, given his age, even if she was 16 it wouldn’t be a crime.
And furthermore, she has the authority to invite someone into the home. While, as a parent, this upsets me, as a former Prosecutor, there is no crime without more facts.

A fifteen year old girl is not a "child". The man should be charged, with statutory rape, not "child molesting".

While preparing to clean my gun before going to bed, I heard my wife scream from the direction of my daughters bed room.
I picked up said pistol and went in that direction. When I got to the room I observed an unknown male subject climbing out of my daughters bed and I ordered him to stop. He ran towards me and I figured if he had the gonads to come into my occupied home he would not stop at doing me harm.
I further say that my daughter probably did not know him as she is well aware of my gun collection and most certainly would have pointed it out to an unwanted (by me) visitor.
