I did call the cops on a guy the other night, and said I 'ran him off'. The cop looked at me when he got here (I'm not a large guy) and asked "How did you run him off?"
I told the cop that I 'splained him. That was enough said.

By the way, did I ever tell you that I scared off a would be burgler? All I did was scream at him. “Who are you and what the h*ll do you think you’re doing in MY house”?
It was too dark to see his face, but he turned around and jumped out of the door and ran off down the hill. Cops wouldn’t even come out to talk to us or anything.
Just said well be careful, and feel free to call again.
Call again for what, I wondered? Sympathy? Yeh, right. Forget it, we’d be dead before they got here anyway.
