Free Tebow!
The Jets should bench their coaching staff..........
Tebow should go to Canada. The media and crowds here have destroyed him. Damn shame.
Go Greg! Not that I don’t like Tim.
Jets already know what Tebow can do, they want to see what McElroy can do so they can unload Sanchez. They will release Tebow, and then they will try to trade Sanchez, and eat his salary to get Alex Smith from SF.
I think Tebow would be a great backup QB for a team who would use him regularly. He is as much a runner as a passer and would eventually get banged up if he was a starter.
For a short yardage situation he would be a good choice. He could run pass or hand it off. The defense could not simply assume he was going to run every time.
Why did they pick up Tebow if they don’t want him to play?
Interesting. McElroy was the Alabama QB who made Florida’s Tim Tebow cry at the end of the 2009 SEC Championship game.

I don’t get it...what happened with Tebow? From the top...why did the Broncos get rid of him? Why won’t the Jets give him a chance?
Don't know if next year's QB will be Mcelroy or Tebow, but it looks like Sanchez won't be there.
just dreaming but its a nice dream...at least its not about obama...
I think the Jets have been purposely undermining Tebow because they don't want him to have the opportunity where he could possibly succeed.
In fact, last night the Jets offense wasn't giving Garcia the protection he needed, either.

Makes sense to me. McElroy won a championship in college by not making mistakes....and lets face it, the Jets are making alot of mistakes right now. And, as much as I like Tebow, its hard to ignore the fact that his sideways release makes for a low ball, and its risky. I.E. mistakes could happen. The jets could still use Tebow though. Line him up as a bask...give McElroy the option to pitch to him, try a flea flicker, generally keep the defense guessing and frozen...it will open up the running game...and all of the sudden passing becomes alot easier. Tebow is an ‘x-factor’ player who would energize the fans. If putting him in as a back keeps him on the field more than tarified appearances at quarterback, then so be it
