How does one propogate English ivy? Just stick a piece in the ground? I plated 2, one died, the other is going like gangbusters. I’ll be mixing them with clementis they are going over an arch. One of the iveys is up the arch, reaching for the otherside. The second one is nowhere to be found.
Now that’s not something I know anything about. Still I’ probably cut off about 5”, pull off all but about 3 leaves on the lower part. Dip it in rooting powder or solution, and stick it in moist dirt in a pot. Cover the pot with a clear plastic bottle to make a little hot house and see what happens.
