But lets call it a middle-class tax cut
Tiffanys husband is out of work, so she needs help to pay for her childs summer camp, better tasting dinners and ice cream truck treats. YouTube Link
Ron feels that privileged Americans need to contribute back a greater fair share then the rest of us because we have given them so much. YouTube Link
Dalia feels we should not fight about those things we disagree on. But we all agree on extending tax cuts only for the middle class. YouTube Link
The rich pay 10 times too much now, tax the poor, they are the ones leaching off the government!
Starve the Beast!!!
It’s RABID!
Starve it before it has to be shot dead!
We are sooo in trouble.
How about if we make it so that the number of votes a person gets is based on the amount of taxes that person pays. Why then the producers might even get enough votes to offset the votes cast by dead people, who strangely seem to always vote for liberals/socialists.
Poor (stupid) Tiffany. Does she really think that the Government's going to take money away from the rich and give it to her? Really?
These dumb f**ks really are this stupid if they think that taxing the rich is going to make their lives better. The only thing the Government's going to do is piss-away the money they taxed away from the rich like the rest of the $16 TRILLION dollars they've already wasted!
“Fairness” however reasonably defined, will include everyone to some degree as a taxpayer. Since 47% of the leaches pay nothing right now and many of those get a check as a negative tax, we need to begin by having everyone pay something. Even if you only earned $1.00 last year, pay a dime. That’s the beginning of fairness.
We got a notice in the mail today that our garbage bill is going up. It had a few items explaining why. (No mention of the strike by the drivers this past spring where they wanted better pay and benefits. Average compensation at $98,000 wasn’t enough I guess.)
Anyway, it said part of the increase in my bill was a County Disposal Fee (tax) increase of 10.25%, and a Business tax increase of 0.3%.
I went on a fake rant to my wife on how that wasn’t what I meant when I voted to tax the rich people and the big corporations - THEY are supposed to pay the tax - not ME!!
Too bad EVERYTHING doesn’t come with a label as to what accounts for the price of the item.
Personally I’m a poor bastard, never had the silver spoon in all my life and on the rare occasions when I could have been better off I felt the consequences were not quite right, like I was selling my soul to the devil.
But I am not holding grudges against the wealthy, no not at all. I see them already losing it all and leaving, the estate auctions are everywhere, the rich are moving out, the rich are to a point smart and intelligent enough to NOT stick around for the looters to arrive, nor to leave anything behind for free. All I can do is yell at the top of my lungs, Run faster! They are coming after you.
47% are not paying their fair share. The so called Rich pay to much.
Here is an excerpt from an old thread about a booklet from 1939 about FDR and the New Deal. The same tactics are being used today. The last two paragraphs are the most important, but the first has part of an FDR speech that sounds just like Obama.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2185147/posts
In his first inaugural address, March 4, 1933, the President [FDR] said: “Values have shrunk to fantastic levels; taxes have risen; our ability to pay. has fallen;... the withered leaves of industrial enterprise lie on every side....... Yet our distress comes from no failure of substance....Plenty is at our doorstep, but a generous use of it languishes in the very sight of the supply. Primarily this is because the rulers of the exchange of mankind’s goods have failed,... Practices of the unscrupulous money-changers stand indicted in the court of public opinion, rejected by the hearts and minds of men.... They know only the rules of a generation of self-seekers.... Yes, the money-changers have fled from their high seats in the temple of our civilization. We may now restore that temple to the ancient truths. The measure of that restoration lies in the extent to which we apply social values more noble than mere monetary profit.” [end of speech excerpt]
....It is not unnatural for people to think envious thoughts about large profits, and envious thoughts are very easy to exploit, as every demagogue knows. But no government before the New Deal had ever deliberately done it....
Large profit as such becomes therefore a symbol of social injury, merely because it is large; moreover, it is asserted that large profit had long been so regarded by the government and penalized for that reason.
Of all the counter symbols this was the one most damaging to the capitalistic system. Indeed, if it were accepted, it would be fatal, because capitalism is a profit and loss system and if profits, even very large profits, are socially wrong, there is nothing more to be said for it.
So... further taxing the rich out of “fairness” won`t improve the nation`s fiscal situation or improve the economy... in fact NO ONE benefits... but it`d somehow make these people feel better.
The socialists succeeded in dividing us. America is dead.
Scum that should be sent to Greece.
Start with the entertainment industry. Hit them with a 70% “evil rich” tax.
“greater fair share”? Isn’t that an oxymoron? If something is fair, then “greater” doesn’t enter the picture.
Obama commands thou shall covet other people’s wealth.
i agree. everytime someone mentions the rich paying their fair share i tell them everyone should pay their fare share, the rich already do, tax the poor who, in many BUT NOT ALL, cases are parasites.
Correct.
tax the poor
Absurd.
they are the ones leaching off the government!
Well ... looks like you've identified the problem right there ... How's that working out for California? It sucks here in America ...
And it's "leech", not "leach". Those are two very different words. Mr. Dictionary is your friend.
