On November 7, 2012, Barack Obama was President; Democrats held the majority in the Senate and the Republicans held the majority in the House of Representatives.
Nothing had changed!
However, there are many who hold great expectations of change. The predicted direction of the change depends entirely on the individual. Some are predicting that unemployment will increase whilst others are predicting that unemployment will decrease. Certainly, a decreasing unemployment rate would be the better change were it achieved.
I am a Christian Conservative Tea Party Patriot who does not believe that Obamas proposal to increase taxes on the millionaires works toward a solution. If the increased taxes cause, some amount of additional revenue to the Treasury it will reduce the need to borrow by exactly that amount and that is a good thing. However, it is not a solution? The problem I have with Obamas agenda is that raising taxes on millionaires is being sold as the solution.
Defining the objective may be the missing bit of information. Both points of view appear to have the same stated objective; help people. How does one help people? The noblest ways to help someone is to employee them or help others employ them. Doing the noble thing requires an improved economy. What are ways to improve the economy?
In simple terms, Conservatives like me prefer a constitutional government. A constitutionally government is a government that functions within the confines of the Constitution. The Constitution does not empower the government to make business the business of the Federal Government. Liberals and Socialist like Obama believe that a constitutional government is without limits.
We cant say with any real certainty what will happen but we do know that President Obama clearly says the Constitution is flawed and since he is President his notion of the Constitution will prevail.
I decided to measure progress by recording the data points on a date certain and then compare those same data points to their current figures from time to time. The reference date I selected was November 5, 2012, the day before the election.

Obama will be more flexible now that it’s after the election, and that message has been relayed to Vladimir.
“since he is President his notion of the Constitution will prevail”
Not while I stand on God’s Earth.
obama claus came to town!
Not a safe assumption, the system is not so static...increased revenue might result in increased spending...even when running a debt.
The balance of the Supreme Court will change. How does the sound of seven “Progressive” Judicial Gods in Black Robes make you feel?
The Filibuster will not protect us because Elections have consequences, unless you’re a Republican President of course. There will be enough RINO’s in the Senate to give Obama and Reid anyone they want. Bet on it.
The Republic as we knew it is over. Not having any Children of my own, I feel for those FReepers who do.
God Bless the remains of a once great Nation. We had a heck of a run boys and girls. I will be long gone before another Republican, or should I say Anti-Democrat is elected POTUS.
Well, ladies and gentlemen of the Free Republic....we just finished watching “They Were Expendable” during movie night at my house and it prompted me to do some thinking,..we are a great nation with an exceptional, honorable history...
Screw these bastards in charge...they haven’t a clue what greatness is...and never will. We have history on our side...the Kenyan is nothing but a pissant poseur...he will never know the glory of righteousness.
This country may go down into the gutter but we KNOW what greatness is...teach your children, watch movies like this one, never forget the glory we had...maybe we’ll have it again....eff them all!
For reference
What changed is that we now have a president who is absolutely immune, by way of pigmentation, to any and all charges of illegality, malfeasance in office or violations of our constitution.
Since the election nearly 70,000 people have been laid off.
My count. Hard number.
What Changed?
Losing another election gives the left wing of the GOP an excuse to go along with the Democrats like they wanted to all along.
Obamanation Communism File.
Uh..on 5 Nov. I thought I was getting out of prison the following evening.
on 6 Nov. I learned my sentence was extended 4 more years, and my country may not survive.
