The question we won't ask: Why does the U.S. keep moving to the left?
Vanity | 11/12/2012 | Dr. Thorne

Has anyone bothered to ask the question: Why do we keep getting the same results in every election? I don't mean Republican vs. Democrat. I mean that the U.S. keeps moving to the left regardless of who is in power. That includes Bush I and Bush II.

The reason is so simple that most people can't see it. We only have one party. It may have two wings, but it is one party. The people who control the Democrats also control the Republicans and the various Congressional firefights and election brouhahas are essentially staged for the benefit of the great unwashed from sea to shining sea.

Ever wonder why Kennedy was shot and Clinton wasn't? Reagan was shot and Bush wasn't? Clinton and both Bushes are among the Harvard/Yale/Princeton elite who make the decisions.

Kennedy started to believe his own reviews, i.e. Camelot, etc. He was arrogant and thought he could do what he wanted and the powers that be couldn't touch him. In Dallas, Texas he found out he was wrong.

Reagan was forced to accept George H.W. Bush as his running mate regardless of the fact that Reagan couldn't stand him. Reagan was shot just 69 days into his presidency by the son of one of G.H.W. Bush's best friends, fellow oilman John Hinckley Sr. Had Reagan died, Bush would have been president. But, the elite are nothing if not patient.

He eventually became president anyway until it was time to put the even more sickeningly immoral Bill Clinton into office. Ever wonder why Bush lost to a philandering dumbass from Arkansas? George didn't care. He knew his son was next in line to the throne and would expand the government beyond any president in history, putting in place the DHS machinery that could surveil and control the populace. George the First learned well at the knee of his father, the Nazi collaborator Prescott Bush.

Obama is now doing the bidding of the global elite who seek a one-world government. Of course, you can't have a one-world government without the only remaining superpower on board. And, if that superpower is truly super and dominates the world, why would it's citizens agree to a one-world government? Our economy will keep sliding down the economic spiral of unemployment and debt until everyone truly hates Obama. He may be flying high now, but he's a sacrificial lamb being led to the altar of world government.

Americans will be thrilled at the prospect of a return to the prosperous Bush years when Jeb Bush runs and wins in 2016. By then, we will be willing to accept the panacea of a global currency as the dollar will be close to worthless. And, if a capitalist like Jeb Bush says it's OK, well what alternative is there?

We are being played like a Stradivarius and will continue on the path to our own destruction until we accept the truth that, as George Wallace said, "they ain't a dime's worth of difference between 'em." And we saw what happened to him, didn't we? As my Dad would say, "They sure settled his hash."

Also, Washington is run by beauracrats. Most of them are Democrats aren’t they? Maybe that has an impact?

Because we have a bunch of divorced, Godless parents that produced Godless, drug-addled children that vote for the benefits their parent lived off of?

“We are just seeing the consequences of 50 years of the Right ignoring the culture while focusing on politics. It worked for a while and we had some victories, notably the (possibly temporary) defeat of Communism. But we are now beginning to pay the price for abandoning the culture.”

How could you possibly have arrived at such reasoning?

Don’t you know that “it’s the economy, stupid!” ??

Jes’ kiddin’, of course.

Here’s a direct personal question:
When Patrick J. Buchanan stood before the Republican National Convention some years ago, and declared that there was a cultural war in this country, how did you regard his remarks? (Aside: many Republicans and even conservatives then mocked him as a nut, as do many of this forum still do, today)

That cultural war was ragin’ back then, and it’s burning even hotter today. And the wind is NOT fanning the flames in our favor.

"1. A television/entertainment culture dominated by leftists.

2. Public education run by leftists.

3. Decline in moral character, brought about in part by #1 and #2 above."

No more phone calls.........we have a winner.

Yup.

And we now have “the ladyparts voters” to contend with.

They voted for Obama @ 70% or so.

I doubt many of them are going to re-think their beliefs and vote Republican even as they grow older. A few may have children, but I’ll reckon that upwards of 50% of the ladyparts cohort will never bother...

It is quite obvious. The people who have their beaks in the comotose body that the United States has become are quite happy. They are being succored by the bloating, decaying body, so they are happy. They control both parties. There is no such thing as a Taft Republican anymore. A country is not a country when it cannot control its borders. The problem with Mexico is that it has been in a civil war/rebellion for decades. If we sealed the southern border, Mexico will blow up.

Recall what the Illiad tells us: The people of the country will pay the price in blood becouse of the poor leadership of their rulers. The rulers most probably will survive with ther mansions, concubines, and money while the citizens bleed in the streets.

What I mean by a culture war is much broader than what Pat meant. It refers not just to family and sexual issues, but to the entire field of culture, most of which is subconcious.

The type of stuff nobody argues about because they are just taken for granted are by far the most important issues in any society, and these are established by the culture.

For instance, in the ancient world nobody, or almost nobody, argued about the morality of slavery. It was just taken for granted. It would have been like arguing about whether water was wet.

We are approaching the end of the culture war on American society, with (near) total victory for the aggressors.

Think of a battle damaged ship. As the water pours in, the watertight integrity begins to fail.

As the watertight integrity begins to fail, the ship begins to flood faster.

As the ship floods faster, it sinks faster, causing a more rapid disintegration of the watertight integrity.

Basically, a vicious circle.

In our society, conservatives have been calling this the “tipping point”, where the people who take money from those who earn it outnumber those who earn it, and the vicious cycle begins.

"...Because the propaganda machines (schools, tv, movies, news) all have a strong left wing bent..."

Here is a sobering thought: when this second term is complete, there will be young people who went all the way through high school and college bathed in this liberalism presented by schools and universities.

I posted that entire speech on this forum several times challenging several bed wetters to tell me what was so damn wrong with it.

No one could. They were just afraid of the rhetoric.

Reminds me of when Dan Quayle went after the show Murphy Brown....and then years later, Candace Bergen basically admitted that he was right.

You get it, 100%.

Get it? LOL. In a world of the rule of law he would be right. But is is beyond naive to think it's about jobs. It's strictly about maximum raw political Power

We are entering the final phase of the consolidation of absolute power around an oppressive central State.

Somehow the Federal wholly unconstitutional portions of the Federal government must be rolled back. Those in power will lust after more power and control. No amount of jobs will hope to negate that power.

All who cherish Liberty are powerless to roll it back. It can't be rolled back legislatively, or by growing the economy.

The only way the Federal government will be rolled back to anything near it's Constitutional duties is through some devastating crisis, most likely a total economic collapse. In the meantime, we must focus on our families and informing people we encounter of the benefits of Liberty and capitalism.

Right Pat spoke with wisdom on many matters but his mere name brought out hatred from those who disliked his America first policies in both economic and in foreign affairs.
