As I said, enough folks like the OP and restaurants will pay their staff minimum wage. I am willing to bet prices will go up far more that 15 or 20%. Servers will make less and be crabby; customers will pay more on the bill and be crabby. But, the OP won’t have to deal with those entitlement attitudes anymore. Win/win? I don’t think so.
I still remember the young man at Red Lobster being shocked when my husband slipped him a $40 tip and made a point of saying it was for him and him only. I thought he was going to cry!

On topic, we ate at our fave local place last night, the food was delish and they’d been closed for 3 weeks...hubby and I talked each other into leaving a 25% tip to the cheerful young gal who waited on us.
