As I understand it, he is a great kid, too. My sister teaches at the high school in Austin where he went. She did not have him as a student, but knew him. FWIW... Same school where Drew Brees went. My sister did have him as a student.
Preach it.
We are a decent place kicker away from having beat LSU.
I’ve talked to many Aggie parents, they told me how much more personal their trips to A&M were than when they went to UT Austin, which seemed more pre-programmed and impersonal, compared to how the A&M people were. I like that College Station is a college town, too many distractions in Austin.
Tell her "Gig'em" for me.
Oregon has the toughest schedule of the three remaining undefeated teams. Back to back games against top 15 teams, then USC for the PAC 12 title. ND and KS only have one tough game left and one relatively easy game.
I enjoyed this, as an Oklahoma fan, Alabama gets to see just how fun it is to think you’re going to have a perfect season and then see an A&M or Texas Tech pee in your punch bowl. LOL!
I as especially proud of how our fans have treated our new friends in the SEC. There have been a number of articles/blog posts from Florida, LSU and Auburn fans that talk about how we have acted at home and on the road.
I’m sure you will find out as your kids get closer to enrolling, but UT is a school in Tennesee. t.u. is that shool in Austin.
Tennessee has a football team?
I plan to go to all of the home games when my kids go there. I’ve been wanting to go to a game there for years.
I didn’t say that. I said UT was a SCHOOL in Tennesee.
If your kid gets a sports pass it comes with the opportunity to get a “date ticket”. Get the ticket on the student side. It is much more fun than the Former Student side.
We are going to the SHSU game this week.
I’m off to go stay with my ailing mom for a few hours. Good talking with you.
You too, Gig ‘Em!
Didn’t see this thread earlier. I’m an Aggie (’84)., but live in California. Last year, my son was applying to colleges. He had visited A&M a few years back during the summer, but he wanted to visit again after he got accepted. He got into all the UCs he applied to. When he revisited those colleges, he didn’t like them as much.
Then he revisited A&M. He loved it. He was worried it would be too big, but it didn’t feel too big. He loved how nice everyone was. He liked the advisor he talked to, and how flexible the college was. It was the only college that he wanted a sweatshirt from, and he wore for like 2 weeks straight!
He’s there now, and loves it! He still talks about how nice everyone is even compared to his private Christian high school!
I highly recommend A&M!
Hubby's an Aggie, too. We love going to Aggie football games. This year has been especially fun.
