Unconfirmed reports indicate Ohio officials are considering implementation of an ObamaCare health insurance exchange. That would be very interesting if true, because operating an ObamaCare exchange would violate the states constitution.
Section 21 of the Ohio Constitution provides:
No federal, state, or local law or rule shall compel, directly or indirectly, any person, employer, or health care provider to participate in a health care system
Compel includes the levying of penalties or fines.

NOTE: As time goes by, I wonder how many more states will adopt such laws?
Woo Hoo!! Maybe there IS a way around onerous Government health care!
Wondering why Texas isn’t part of that group.
Good - I’ve bought a house in AZ and moving there fairly soon.
CONSTITUTION ,,,, what’s that ? ,,, With the 0bama justice dept. I see no problem with disregarding any State or US Constitution . The frog is getting very hot and hasn’t budged a muscle . We are sheeple .
Seems a State Constitutional provision should trump a Federal law.
Sort of like a straight flush vs. 4-of-a-kind...
A government health exchange violates MY personal constitution!
I do not consent.
,,,,, OK ,,,, Now what ? ,,,, Whatcha gonna do about it ???
I rest my case . . .
“,,,,, OK ,,,, Now what ? ,,,, Whatcha gonna do about it ???”
You’re a little nuts with your use of punctuation.
What will I do? I guess that remains to be seen. i guess the first step in resisting an encroaching tyranny, like Obamacare, is to identify it and point it out to others. Maybe vote. Maybe resist it at every turn.
I will not participate in a healthcare scheme that requires me to do so involuntarily. I will not participate, answer questions, complete forms, or acknowledge it as anything legitimate under our form of government.
As this turd of a bill flowers and spreads, others will begin to see it for what it is. Then and only then will it die.
And hey, at least my state sought to nullify Obamacare — See Thomas Jefferson on nullification by the states.
Be part of the solution instead of someone on the sidelines with spitballs and a straw.
,,,, OK ,,,, you’ll have plenty of company in lockup ,,, 16K new IRS agents in commiecare ,,,, 20 new middle class taxes are embedded in it ,,, an 80k man personal presidential militia also there ,,,, your whole life will be a punctuation before this is over ,,,,, get used to it ,,,, you are a one man army . . .
That’s fine, roll over and piss down your own leg if you wanna, but get off of mine.
My state gave me the legal defense I need to not participate.
They wanna come after me, here I am!
That pesky 10th Amendment!
I hope it works for you ,,, I really mean that ,, my current fear is that the constitution is irrelivent now . No brain Boehner and the rest of our spineless congressmen allow 0bama to rule by fiat and executive order now ,,, congress is useless IMO . My belief is that it will require a lot more than just the 1st ,, 2nd and 10th amendments . The Bill of Rights and the Constitution are crumbling right before our eyes . You have a great Governor ,,, and I have great respect for him . I ,, on the other hand live in the bananna republic of Maryland where there is little hope now . God bless you and you have my sincere best wishes .
PS ,, I don’t plan on rolling over ,,, go to my personal page ,,, one line says it all .
They want to haul me before a judge or jury, I will handle my own. Might even come out with some jurist converts.
Nobody like this bucket of excrement. If they think they do, they are in for an awakening.
This monstrosity will NEVER be the law of the land.
last time I checked, it was written in plain English:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
Keep messing with the states and they can open up a significant can of whoop-ass on the federal government.
Especially when you have 30 Republican governors....
The Constitution saw these circumstances and allowed for them.
From your lips to God’s ears!
