Seven current members of the Navy's elite SEAL Team Six, including one involved in the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, have received non-judicial punishments for having served as paid consultants for the video game "Medal of Honor: Warfighter." Four other SEALs who previously belonged to the unit remain under investigation. The newly released game by Electronic Arts features special operations forces, including SEALs, in combat situations. Promotional materials for the game mention the fact that, to make the game as realistic as possible, input came from special operators, including Navy SEALS.

This administration is into humiliating people. Humiliation has a way of coming back at you.
Yet Obama announced they were involved in the raid on Bin Laden within hours of it happening, even though it was highly classified.
While Congress continues to insider trade.
So glad I’m no longer active duty...concerned for my stepson who serves...
Lady Liberty is now held hostage by the obomunist leader who gleefully continues to “transform” America. Evil reigns...
this is what happens when you don’t pay the VIG.
Does obama get the $$$ from those books someone wrote for him?
They gave the filmakers of the bin laden raid film all the access they needed, much of which was classified but the current and former SEALS cannot provide tech advisory to a game company.
This could come back to bite der Fuehrer in the ass.
The revenge has begun.
Don’t know for certain, though read a report of number is up to eleven. No confirmation. I do expect the number to go higher.
Didn’t Hussein let Hollywood types in on what happened?
That was the report.

They were written before he became President of the United States, so yes he can be paid....if he wrote a book as President, he would not be paid. He will be paid handsomely for his book in four years when he writes his autobiography. Probably 30 million to ensure he is the highest paid President for a book written.
yes, he invited several well-known hollywood folks to the WH for a private briefing and probably rescreening of the real-time video from the mission. Tom Hanks, Spielberg, etc.
Don’t know if Streisand was there, but if so, she probably sang for ‘em...if Beyonce was there, she strutted her overexposed stuff around while she pretended to sing. Jay z just sat in a chair and probably smoked a cuban cigar. (of course this last paragraph is my sarcasm!)
All they had to do is get the commander’s (equivalent to a squadron commander) permission to do this. I bet they did. If they did, they did it by the book. The problem is that non-judicial punishment can be arbitrary if desired. The seals would have to ask for a court martial to clear it. Most don’t want to go to that level, especially if the penalty was minor (usually forfeiture of some pay and additional duties). This was meant to stain them and show them who is boss. In the SOF community this will probably become a badge of honor.
It was mentioned this morning on tv, that back before the 2nd Gulf war, not many even knew about seal teams, especially 6.

Hello George Soros!
It appears Yahoo took that article down... I’m on a phone, can anyone post a cached version if the disappeared article?
