“2016 is a sure Republican bet since voters will experience miserable eight years of failed Obama policy.” Dreamer

This time in 2008 the same swan song: "Give people four years of Obama and we'll have a lock on 2012."

The reality is that this level of observation ignores the democrats' four years of infrastructure, infiltrating the country like a cancer, through the social media. It now is known, that they never let their campaign apparatus of 2008 falter a single step.

They had offices in all swing states, over a hundred in Ohio alone, operating six days a week since 2008 to identify and register voters, coddle them along with the song and dance emails, the grandiose bill of goods, and the Starbucks coupons, and making sure they got them to the polls as early as possible, so they could go back and get more sheep and carry them to the polls, rinse and repeat. The GOP was asleep at the wheel. Again. Thinking they didn't have to do anything until the last year or so.

This why there were so few obama lawn signs out, why Obama seemed so placid and unperturbed, and why the rats made so little noise--by the time Romney finally won the nomination, the election results were already baked in.

And it had nothing to do with Romney as a candidate. Given the same inept party beltway plutocracy, Ronald Reagan would have gotten his butt kicked just as badly.

Good post.

The concept of liberty and freedom is abstract compared to ObamaPhones and condoms with voters.

They soon will learn. Will it matter? Despite the destruction liberalism and big government has wrought on Indian reservations and inner cities, they still think voting for more of the same will fix it
