Does anybody know what the Jew and Catholic was?

...doing in the Casino?

The Catholic was gambling. The Jew was dealing the cards.

Is that where you were going with this?

Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. I think they’re both still alive.

From what I found, 69-70% of the Jewish vote went to Dear Leader.

That means that 8-9% of the Jews woke up over the last four years. (78% of the Jewish vote went for O in 2008) I’m praying for another 10% over the next four.

The Jew and the Catholic were out fishing on the lake, when they both realized the beer was back on the shore.

The Catholic got out of the boat, walked across the water, retrieved the beer and walked back to the boat.

The Jew, not to be outdone by a mere Catholic, attempted the same thing, and promptly sank to the bottom of the lake.

The Catholic muttered to himself, “Stupid bastard didn’t know where the rocks were...”

Mike Medvid just talked about this on his radio show. With Jews, Romney increased the jewish vote from 21% to over 36%. With Catholic whites; around 40% to over 64%. Hispanics were unchanged.

Catholics (CINOS mostly) voted 57% for Obama. I don’t know what it was in 2008.

Romney got twice the number of Jewish votes that McCain. McCain got 22% of the Jewish vote and Romney got 32%.

He got half of the catholic voters. But the bigger question is which group stayed home by the millions?

If you're asking demographically how they voted in Prez election, per CNN today (their exit polls):
* Jewish vote went 69-30% for Obama (so Romney did better than McCain)
* Roman Catholic vote went 50-48% for Obama...so Roman Catholics helped to give Obama the win...especially in the Upper Midwest states

And these weren't all fringe Catholics either.

CNN found that Obama did better than expected among voters who attended church weekly (39-59%)

White Evangelicals voted for Romney 78-21%
Protestants voted for Romney 57-42%

This means to counterbalance that 78-21%, the rest of the Protestants -- the liberal mainliners + minority Protestants (if they were in equal #s to the White Evangelicals) voted for Obama by about a 63-36% margin...We know blacks went for Obama about 9.5+ out of 10...and Hispanics went for Obama 71-27%...the latter per CNN exit polling data

So the biggest religious contributers to Obama were:
* #1 Black Protestants
* #2 Hispanics & Jews (near 70%)
* #4 Religious Protestant Mainliners (probably would be found in upper 50s percentile)
* #5 Non-Hispanic Catholics (Considering the overall 50-48% included Hispanics, the non-Hispanic Catholic vote was probably close to half)

The only stat I heard was that those Catholics who attend church at least once per week went mostly to Romney. Those who attended less frequently went to Obama.

So it seems that half of Catholics did not “vote their conscience” but simply ignored it.
