Turning The Country Conservative (A Sure Thing)
Vanity | wiseprince

Posted on 11/07/2012 12:28:09 PM PST by wiseprince

Why not just do what the Dems did? Blow it up from the inside and blame the guy in power. This is how you do it

1. Raise Taxes: Let the Bush tax cuts expire for everyone thus raising taxes
2. Fiscal Cliff: Do not raise the debt ceiling
3. Blame Obama for the outcome

The beauty of this approach is that it necessarily guarantees smaller government, if forces cuts in spending. It increases unemployment on Obama's watch (hey, they voted for this). It paints liberalism as the reason for the downfall. If I were running things up there this is exactly what I would do and I would have a landslide victory in 2014. From there I would gridlock further and say that we can't work with the President, his ideas have brought us 20% unemployment and drastically devalued the dollar. Liberalism will be reduced to rubble for at least a decade. Is it worth destroying the country to gain back power? Personally, I think this would be a dramatic improvement on the country. No one would look to the government because the poverty of the feds would be evident. We won't have to talk about fiscal cliff's anymore because we already jumped. The only questions we would have to ask is what to cut next. If you're not able to get the President to agree to cut then that's fine, just wait him out and landslide again in 2016 with a rabid Conservative.
You're welcome

P.S, since it's vanity day I'll post this as a story

Sounds good to me. 8.00 a gallon gas sounds good too. Let them enjoy what they voted for. And those that stayed home too. I’m not mad, just want to get even. I just need to figure out somewhere safe to stash our savings while things crumble.

I like it but who is the rabid Republican willing to run the nastiest hard hitting race ever? 2012 came down to this—— nobody would ever slap Santa Claus.

Sometimes you do need to step back a let your children fall before they learn. However, the Dems know exactly what they are doing. The cold hard truth is that they want to destroy this country and it will take bloodshed for conservatives to take it back (which is what they want to create a civil war so they can solidify their power).

The constitution has been ignored but there are still 3 branches of government (I could argue for times as these). It doesn’t take bloodshed if their is some courage. If Obama got a mandate so did the House. I wish Rush would promote this idea. The beauty is for this to happen the house just has to do nothing. They’re good at that so it’s not that much of a stretch

I agree, and was saying just that this morning. The House should give Obama EVERYTHING HE WANTS, including confiscatory tax rates on those earning over two hundred grand a year, with no loopholes and no exceptions. Just make sure everybody knows that these are OBAMA’S TAXES. No more Republican obstructionism folks. It’s Obama’s Way, all the way.

3. Blame Obama for the outcome

Unfortunately, Step 3 will not happen, even if Steps 1 and 2 do.

Here's what will happen:

3. Obama will blame the House Republicans for refusing to "compromise" (that is, for not giving in to Obama's every whim).

More blame will be heaped upon "greedy" millionaires who refuse to pay their "fair share" (which will be whatever percentage Obama says is fair).

The MSM will go along with Obama. Most Americans will believe whatever the MSM tells them.

Its very simple. All the House Repubs need do is vote present on every Democrat Bill to do with spending. Let them own it.

Republicans control the House.

Therefore, they get to name the bills.

Simply name the bill, the "Obama Tax Bill of 2012."

or the "Democrat Party Tax Increase Bill"

or some such name ...

It won’t work. Remember when Newt was blamed for shutting down the government?

The media will blame the Republicans.

Personally, I think sequestration is not a bad idea.

And I could live with the Clinton tax rates, as long as they all got reinstated (not just the rich).

Force us into a recession, but cut spending.

letting the obama plan move forward the MSM will be utterly destroyed. no one will be able to afford their newspapers, magazines, cable TV...... and they are already reeling.

the military will need to find some way to support itself ~ maybe some freebooting ~ that's a real old fashioned way to get the money to move your aircraft carriers but think about it, who will argue with a boatload of nukes!

The debt ceiling is effectively irrelevant.
The government can justify issuing itself all the debt it requires - i.e., printing money. The shenanigans that they are already up to are proof of that.

Was thinking of this as well. If the people want to drink the Obama cool aid - let them drink the whole gallon and finally teach them what full blown Socialism looks like. They certainly won’t take our word for it.

Let them take it all down.

Although they’ll still blame Bush and all his followers or, the latest buzz word, “haters.”

This won't work if the House "gives Obama what he wants" as far as tax increases.

Never forget what lowlife pieces of $hit democrats are.

After promising GHW Bush all kinds of "spending cuts" for just a wee tax increase, the scum sucking dems then ran ads against Bush on this very basis.

"HOW can you trust a man who lies to you about not raising taxes?"

Even though the president AGREED with the snakes, the snakes pounded him with it mercilessly.

I do not believe the exit polls....any of them.

I firmly believe we have just been the victims of the biggest fraud in the history of mankind.

I refuse to believe that the American people were energized to vote for President Obama yesterday.

This election could be a script from a movie, therefore, I am starting to believe it was designed as such.

I think it is far more likely that a plan has been in the works to corrupt this cycle since 2010.

Multiple blue states voted for every Democrat in statewide races by a similar count as what President Obama gained in that state.

States that typically split their statewide vote went 100% Democrat for every statewide race. That can only come from straight party-line voting.

If you wanted to demoralize your opponents, and had the ability, you would arrange the votes in a few safe districts within a few states to overwhelm the other party’s safe districts, regardless of turnout.

Then, you would ensure the exit polling contradicted everything your opponents believe, everything they expect and everything they support.

At that point, your opponents would turn on each other, re-think their beliefs and dissolve into irrelevance.

Who would have thought that four years ago, the United States would elect a man who served only 40 months in the US Senate to the White House? Who would have thought his background, his history and his performance would be protected, minimized or dismissed over the course his first term?

If an evil alliance of socialists and islamists really exist in our world, could they have engineered such events?

Conservative, married couples should start having at least 3 if not 4 children.

This should be it’s own thread but I did think about it. I don’t like pushing conspiracies when I have zero hard evidence though. What I was thinking is this: If I were going to rig an election I wouldn’t steal a few thousand here and there I would just write code that would generate election results and polling results to match them. I feel as though the numbers that I was seeing looked like a pattern more than anything. Between polling and election results looking, to me, formulaic, and not agreeing with anything tangible that could have been seen on the ground, the feel, the atmosphere I wouldn’t at all be surprised if, given concrete evidence, it was shown to be a computer generated result. I’m not going down that path though. It would take a lot of data mining to uncover a formula in the results (if there even is one) and the reality is nothing will change as a result of it so my time is better spent. My main point about fraud is that if you’re going to do it then do it in such a brazen manner because your chances of getting away with it, in my opinion, increase dramatically.

Part of a cave-in late 2010 gave the resident the power, if he can sqander our resources quickly enough, (and he can), he can raise the debt limit without informing congress, let alone asking their permission. Those multi-thousand page bills are now law, with teeth. Waffling yields consequences.
