The Untied States of America [VANITY]
My Mind's Eye | 7 November 2012 | Ron Arestia

Posted on 11/07/2012 7:07:35 AM PST by rarestia

Barack Hussein Obama won a second term as President of America. If I was alive in the 1950s and you told me that America would one day elect a President who was not Christian and who espoused the ideas of Mao Tse Tung, Karl Marx, and Josef Stalin, I would've laughed in your face and chased you off of my porch with a shotgun. If you told me that he, after 4 years of blatant lying and misdirection, would be re-elected, I would've pulled the trigger on the aforementioned.

I'm fighting back sadness and depression this morning, trying to tell myself that we will see ourselves through this, trying to figure out how to talk to co-workers who are openly liberal, trying to muster up tears for America. I cannot.

Regression

When I was in middle school, I wore my Boy Scout uniform to school one day in honor of Flag Day. I was derided and laughed at by my peers. My teachers looked at me like I was mentally untied, but I was proud. At the end of the day, an older student pushed me down in the bike lockup and proceeded to laugh at me and kick dirt in my face. He called me a "faggot" and a "loser." As he walked away, I stood up, dusted myself off, rushed at him and slammed my coupled fists into his back as he unlocked his bike. He crumbled to the ground. One of his friends kicked me in the knees and the rest held me down as he got up and said, "You're dead."

He pummeled me mercilessly. When the onslaught was over, his friends took turns doing the same. My merit pins were scattered across the lot, and frightened kids looked on as I picked up my broken glasses and gathered the pins I could find. In a final statement, the pack of bullies flattened my tires and threw my bike over a fence into a drainage ditch. All of this, because I wore my Boy Scout uniform to school.

I left my bike in the ditch and walked home in a daze. Blood got in my eyes, my body ached everywhere. When I rounded a corner into a neighborhood adjacent to mine, the bullies stood there waiting for me. I put up no fight. I simply walked past them as they spat on me, called me names like "fat boy" and "Weblos fag." One of them threw rotten fruit at me. A large grapefruit made a solid splat against the back of my head, knocking my glasses to the ground and disconnecting the remaining lens from the frame. I picked them up and put them in my chest pocket and finished the walk home half-blind, bloody, and smelling like rotten citrus.

This morning, I'm 12 years old again. I've mentally regressed 20 years to that day when I was aggressed so maliciously that any dignity that remained was locked up in the very core of my humanity.

Knowing Your Fate

I knew around 8 PM last night that Romney was finished. The returns coming in were far from the landslide or mandate being predicted by the conservatives in the media. I watched despondently as my home state of Florida slid into the abyss. My heart slowed and my breathing became shallow as local stations called the election for Bill Nelson. When they showed the county map of Florida, I watched as my county of Pinellas and most of those counties around me turned that sickening shade of blue, an indication that, while the poll watchers were stunned by the number of young voters, it only meant that the youth, those teat-attached 20-somethings still living in mom and dad's house, came out to support the man who would promise them everything.

Obama said, just a few days ago, that his people should vote for revenge. Obama's chief of staff said that they'd remember those who helped them and those who hurt them. Sadly, I know what that means. After watching 4 years of a Justice Department turn a blind eye to blacks intimidating whites, a circus trial in Orlando of a man who used a firearm to defend himself from certain bodily harm, and an administration making excuses for the deaths of 4 Americans on Arab soil, I know what all of this means.

My wife and I wed back in July. It was a joyous time for me. I stood in front my family and proclaimed that I would stand by and protect this woman against all threats. I would raise a family to know what it meant to work hard and be rewarded for it. I would live a spiritual life. As I looked in my wife's eyes this morning, I could not muster the courage to tell her that what's about to happen to us, what's about to happen to America, is something that I, one man, cannot protect her against.

Facing Reality

I'm not going to scream "vote fraud" this morning. I'm not going to scream "recount" or "lawsuit." Besides, Romney already closed up his tent. He already took his remaining donations and socked them away into a bank account somewhere, presumably to give to his church or for his own personal wealth. His concession speech was flaccid and vacuous. It left me with nothing more than the same feeling I felt the day after that vicious middle-school bashing when the Principal looked at my mother and me, black and blue with taped-up glasses, and said, "There's nothing more I can do." Regardless of how much she could do, she didn't want to do anything more. Zero tolerance didn't exist at that time, and it's likely that word had reached her that I was child who wore his Boy Scout uniform to school to honor our nation's flag. If she was like most school administrators today, her liberal inner-child was laughing at me as I sat in her office. I wasn't a victim. I got what I deserved.

The reality this morning is this: America is no longer united. America is cleft twain: those who do and those who take. I'll only make a series of guesses as to what's about to happen to America at the hands of a Marxist Muslim President.

Suppositions

Obamacare

In 2014, Obamacare will go into full-swing. There will be eleventh-hour lawsuits, but barring the second coming of Christ, it will go into effect. Catholic hospitals will shutter. Abortions will be available on-demand in a medical facility to any woman who wishes to remove the life from her womb, regardless of how it got there.

If you're at or over retirement age, you'll have to decide: do you work for another 20 years, or do you go up against a panel of bureaucrats to plead your case for your life?

Eastern Rise to Power

Obama made it clear to Medvedev that he'll have more "flexibility" in his second term. Just a few days ago, we read that a Russian nuclear sub came within 200 miles of the east coast. This was no mistake.

China owns us. They own our debt. We buy their crap. We rely on their sweatshops while we eschew the idea of "sub-minimum wage" in America. The Chinese are buying up our land, providing sub-standard building materials, and using our taxpayer monies to build up their own military. All the while, the American Navy is rusting to pieces.

Globalism

Obama's made it no secret that wishes for "us" to be "world citizens." This includes the use of the UN to make mandates via treaties that our Senate would vote down but would be passed by Executive fiat. This includes the use of "world law" in American courts, not the least fearful of which is Sharia law.

Unchecked black-on-white crime

Blacks in the cities have become empowered by a black president and a Department of Justice that declines to prosecute those blacks who would commit the most egregious crimes, especially those against whites. George Zimmerman will be one of the first post-election examples made despite overwhelming reasonable doubt as to his guilt. Blacks will grow emboldened to commit crimes as their personal and social lots grow dire. It's been 4 years with a black president and a black head of the DOJ, yet blacks continue to decline on employment rolls and grow on the food stamp rolls.

Disassembly of "Conservative" Media Outlets

Whether by Executive fiat or through coerced legislation, we will see the disassembling of talk radio. We will see a clamp being placed on the Internet to deny everyone with a contrary opinion the right to voice it. Facebook and Twitter and all of the surreptitious forms of electronic monitoring known as "social media" will be used to silence dissent through ridicule and eventual forced disconnection, be it electronic or by the barrel of a gun.

Unheard of Energy Costs

There's myriad evidence that Obama's green energy plan is a colossal failure. Solyndra and the Chevy Volt are two prominent examples. Noticed that fuel prices went down a bit in the waning days of the election cycle? I want to believe that's by design, and I'm sure it'll play out that it was. If you're somewhere in the north, you'll have to choose between staying warm and staying fed. If you're in the south or near water, you won't be using your boat for recreation or fishing. The cost of food will skyrocket, as the cost of transporting it will do the same. This is by design. Local produce is better, after all. Right?

Wholesale Gun Bans and Eventual Confiscation

The Nazis understood that they could not win a battle against an armed populace. They started with the disarming of the Jews. The Jews were "evil" according to Hitler. They were taking away all that was good in life. Not Jewish? No worries! You can keep your guns... for now.

In the coming weeks, we're going to see stories about ammo shortages. The price of ammunition will skyrocket. The Federal government will continue to buy it up in the name of "target practice." Meanwhile, as a population, we'll grow out of practice. Eventually, those who never shot or haven't shot their guns in a while will be convinced that they should just give them up. What's the point without ammo, right?

National tragedies like Aurora and Ft. Hood will be used to push gun control and woe be the bureaucrat who stands up and says that gun control isn't the answer. Like the days after 9/11, the "national unity" meme will come out and gun control will be organized and implemented in short order. And not just "assault rifles," but handguns as well. They don't have a hunting or sporting purpose, do they?

After the amnesty periods are over, and after the gun shops are shuttered, it will be mandated that law enforcement go after C&R FFLs and concealed carry permit holders. Those remaining will be arrested or killed in raids.

Final Thoughts

Everything's quiet now. Many of us are walking off an election night hangover like none experienced before. We're cataloging our ammo supplies and our food stocks. We're considering fuel storage and purchasing those black rifles that will likely soon be illegal to even look at on the Internet. It's stormy in parts of the country and quiet and cool in others. Fall is in full swing. It's going to be a cold winter.

My only prayer is that when the government bullies are standing there after I turn that corner on my walk home they don't rape my wife and shoot my dog. And they'd be remiss to not make my final moments quick and painless; unlike 20 years ago on that residential lawn, I won't be picking up my broken glasses and walking home. I'll be shooting back. My soul is prepared.

Thank you Ron Arestia for venting what you feel so eloquently. I feel and I suspect most thinking patriotic Americans also feel the same.

This nation was kicked in the groin four years ago. I was sure that after the nation views four years of the disasters that were to fall on the nation from that massive voting error, the example would keep it from ever happening again. I was wrong. The “mainstream” American voter is now obviously a combination of parasites who have learned that government will provide for their every basic need (”OBAMAPHONE”), socialists who have aimed at the demise of America's liberties for decades, and a severely dumbed down electorate and culture.

How ironic that the “youth” who zombi-waddle into the polls to vote for this tyranny are dooming themselves to hopeless future.

Well said, except for one thing: We ain’t sheep and we won’t just let the thugs do their dirty work. They have soft spots, too.

My son voted in his first presidential election last night. He is 20.

This morning, he said, I guess that was a waste of time... I told him no it was not. You voted what you believed and you can continue to influence others.

I had to leave it at that because I am so demoralized myself right now.

However, I will pick myself up and fight on.

As my husband said this morning...Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad. It makes me think back to Bush vs. Gore.

This family is not giving up!
