I sympathize with these people, would even volunteer to help them if I lived near-by. What I can’t understand is why the wealthy New Yorkers and New Jersey residents who weren’t impacted by the storm are not helping them and I don’t mean by running concerts or benefits, I mean going down there on the street and finding out what those people need and getting it for them.
Think what could be achieved if wealthy NYers each adopted a family in need and bought them some clothes and shoes, and some containers to store them in.
There is no gasoline to get anywhere - 4 to 6 hour lines IF the station has gas.
