FR has been very unstable the last week or so. Will it be able to sustain the heavy traffic come election day or will it crash it?
Anyone else know an alternate site just in case?
You’re right - DU will be the place to be on election day. I’m gonna make some yummy popcorn and some drinks, pull up a comfy chair and get ready for the show.
That left-wing dump is going to implode so hard it will register on the Richter Scale.
They'll shut it down to outsiders if it looks like Romney is wining.
They did that when Bush was beating Kerry.

Most likely they will lock the site for registered users only and go on suicide watch.
It was doing great for a day or so. Now it took 5 tries to load this thread. 3 tries to get the posting box. And we shall see how many it takes to post this reply.
It is very likely that traffic to FR is being interfered with along the way. A few things come to mind. These are purely speculative of course.
One is that there was a let up in interference so that John would stop looking for a problem. Then they could start the interference again when it is too late to do anything about it.
Another is that all connections to FR are being re-routed through some node where every communication to and from FR is being monitored live(By some government entity), and that is slowing things down. Many say that the signal is being routed through Chicago. Think about that.
They sure are sore losers. FR didn't do that when bambi won.
I just posted a note to JR after doing a traceroute. I had +20 stops to get to FR; DU took 3 stops.
I’m not sure it’s anything hinky; I think with all the server changes over the years, the DNS has gotten too many entries.
I’m no expert, but I think it’s a relatively simple fix to knock out those diversions, and FR will be blazing fast for everyone.
